It's not actually a landslide for Fisher. It is going to depend on how much you enjoy the fishing mini-game. Crab pots can be a really convenient way to slowly accumulate fishing experience and some income (via sashimi) at very little commitment by placing the pots on your farm. However, for raw money-making (and especially on 1.6), fishing pulls ahead by a sizeable margin.

I think Wine is like your end-all-be-all money maker, but you kinda do it in stages, jellies are a bit easier to maximize profits earlier to mid game and wines are definitely more of a later game thing when you unlock the cellars.

Well me personally, if you're looking for a high yield of profit, cranberries are absolutely insane when it comes to making money, so I personally make a big cranberry area, then I make a pumpkin patch cause I like pumpkins, then I make a bunch of yams since they're Linus's favorites, then you'll wanna tend to getting your crops and items ready for the community center.
