YES, build a barn or coop first. Once you are rolling in dough and are content with the coop(s) and barn(s), get a hutch. You can also decorate the interior of the slime hutch like your house. I have an iridium sprinkler watering their bowls and a specific ring.. Idk how to blank stuff out for spoilers but I just hangout with my slimes
