I've never had a bug that bad, but on one of my Save files I did have an issue with one of my coops during winter where for some reason the chickens had bad moods, and were losing hearts, despite being fed, heated and pet. (i started getting small eggs again). It fixed itself in spring... No idea what the issue was.
