For the desert, you need to complete the vault room in the community center which repairs the bus

As pula says depends what u want to do,what your level of commitment you want.in game u can be as poor or as wealthy you can be.for wealth id reccomend fishing so u can then upgrade the pickaxe which is very important for mining

Spring crops aren't great. In your first spring, you mostly just do farming for EXP to learn to craft sprinklers, whereas your actual income is best obtained via fishing

This is why I never buy wood:
Level 5 foraging to level 10 takes 12,850 experience to level up to… ~1,070 trees if it were just trees getting foraging xp from.. each tree averages ~21 wood, with forester at level 5 extra 25%, would be around an additional 5.25 wood per tree.. (5.25x1070)x10g= approx 56175 gold that would’ve been spent at Robin’s Year 1 vs. the wood gained & 10k gold spent going from level 5 forester, switching to gatherer/botanist from dog statue … would be way worse if it was buying wood from Robin y2
