2. Foraging is somewhat harder to level up than other skills since, unlike the others, there are only quite a handful of ways to increase experience points in it.
3. The skill levels will not synchronize unless you really intend for them to. You're not getting a neat 6 levels in all skills at once if you're playing without them in mind

If you explore the area south of your farm you can find spring onions to eat for energy

1. Forage during Fridays and/or Saturdays. Forageables accumulates over the week and resets on Sundays. You'll get more Forageables during the former, so try to forage then.
2. Fishing is a great tactic to earn a lot of money and quick. In my opinion, it's the best early-game moneymaker.
3. Try venturing The Mines once in a while. It has good resources that can help you build your farm and automate things for you.
4. When you have the time, talk to the townspeople, give them gifts they might like. You might not know, but those friendship points snowball over time.
5. Try to keep a day to one thing. I keep trying not to multitask, just not enough time to do all the things I need

• fishing is a great way to make a buck when you're waiting on crops
• I recommend you not spending TOO MUCH on anything (like tool upgrades, max backpack upgrades, traveling cart stuff) before the 13th of spring because there'll be the Egg Festival, there pierre sells you the best spring crop y1
• Potatoes are almost just as good as strawberries y1, so i recommend getting your money up via those and fishing
• Go to town on the 5th of spring after 8am and before 2am(iirc) on a no rain day to really start the game
• The mines is also unlocked on the 5th, there's a ton of stuff for you to explore there
• For fishing, i recommend getting the fiberglass rod asap, (level 2 fishing reward bought at willy's) since it makes a huge difference (between the bamboo pole and the fiberglass rod, since it gives you access to bait)
• if you're interested in raising animals, most ppl will advice you to get a silo asap but imo, you can put it off for as long as near end of fall.
  (since it's only really useful in rainy days and in the winter)
• try to get lightning rods (level 6 foraging) before summer 13th (or better yet, summer) and avoid placing really valuable crops that you have just 1 of if you don't have at least 1 rod on your farm.
• ||if you happen to come across or a dino egg, it's recommended that you hold onto them instead of donating them the the museum||

You can put anything in the cellar. But only casks will age cheese/wine, And they will only age if the cask is in the cellar. Kegs can go anywhere to make wine, so it is best to put those outside or in a shed so the cellar has more room for casks (sorry I worded things badly earlier)
