Early on that's fine. You're not going to get the really good stuff for awhile, outside of a really lucky fishing chest giving an Iridium Band.

You could always craft a second Glowstone ring if you like the magnetism, but Imunity is nice to have as well.

I'd recommending running around to forage in all seasons you first year.
Forage resets on Sundays, so go around the map and check on Saturdays (instead of daily).

Summer forage is kind of unique in that there's only 3 of it, rather than the usual 4. This actually makes crafting Summer Seeds more efficient than other seasons if you wish to actually grow it yourself.

You'll also want to, at some point during Summer, gain access to the Secret Woods by upgrading your Axe to Iron, since there's a Summer Exlusive forage in there you need for the CC
