after watering your crops, clear your inventory, take your fishing pole, and a wooden chest.
head down to the pier, to willy's shop. place the chest next to the bench in front of his shop.
start fishing. if your inventory is about to be full, dump it in the chest.
when it's about to be 5PM, grab all the fish from the chest, sell it to willy
continue fishing until almost exhausted.
take all the fish in your inventory and left in the chest with you to your farm, dump into shipping bin
repeat

To clarify, CA is not working with mod authors to make sure mods are up to date. There are mod authors working under CA to make the underlying game code easier to mod.

It's the decision of each mod author whether they will update or not. SVE has its own server where you can ask what the update plan is.
