And every fishing level makes the bar higher
Fishing levels increase and go past max level with cooked recipes that have fishing bonuses (dish of the sea, seafoam pudding, lobster bisque, etc.). Eat those and they make the bar rly high
For hard fish I always eat seafoam pudding bc it gives the best fishing bonus, hence why I have a midnight carp pond
