If you find a dinosaur egg, don't donate it to the museum yet. It's pretty rare to find one. Upgrade coop to big coop and incubate it. When it hatches, you will get a baby dino. Wait for it to grow and it will produce a dino egg. You can now donate the egg to the museum by then.

Depends, are you aiming at optimizing money very, very much? Then no. But getting a few animals can help raise your farming skill level if it's not already maxed out (and if you're not growing many crops, it helps) and it can just be fun seeing some rabbits walking around.

If you want friendship then go for rabbits foot I havent found a npc who doesnt like them yet

Rabbits are awesome, not for money but for their feet. Rabbits foot is loved by everyone except Penny, so it's really handy for raising friendship

It's the only universal love item that can have a quality rating

Just remember you don't have to buy them all at once. They are a bit expensive, you can get them one at a time. Later on in the game, the price of one may not be as much of a drain on your fincances as in the very early game (where you might want to buy other stuff first, like tool upgrades or a bigger backpack)

It's all up to you though, the game doesn't really have 'wrong' decisions 🙂
