Potatoes is a good one I think. Anything you might need for the community center if you’re trying to complete it. If you’re going for food, buy a bit of everything, and keep an eye out for crops that produce multiple times.

@stoic atlas get a stack of bombs, 60+. Get two stacks of food, one with buffs, one without. I like lava eel and sashimi. Lava eel you can get by ||trading ruby at desert trader||. You use the nonbuffing food to heal so it doesn't erase your buffs. Go on a high luck day. Just bomb your way down looking for shafts, run from monsters as best you can. If you don't have ||galaxy sword|| buy flame katana. You can also use staircases, can ||trade jade at the desert||

It doesn't totally matter. Bats can sometimes help with community center but they're not reliable. Later on the bat cave is nice because the fruit piles up so you don't have to check it every day. Mushrooms are great for energy early on but less useful later (though so are bats)

One thing I like to do in summer is spend extra money on a ton of wheat seeds, clear an unused area of the farm, and plant them and ignore them. They only need 4 days to grow and it's almost guaranteed to rain 4 times. You'll lose a few to crows but nbd. The seeds are only 10g each so if you can do like 200-300 that's a good roi and lots of farming xp for no effort. If you have a couple kegs the beer is a huge profit
