Tip for summer. Blueberrys, LOTS of blueberrys. Also make sure you use speed-gro with blueberrys because it will let you get another harvest that you normally wouldnt get.

Something that can help a lot is buying the training rod from willy. It will only let you hook easier fish, and the fishing bar is decently sized, so it makes it much easier to catch fish and level up in fishing early on

It's not. The only thing that changes when you hit the bottom of the mines is that the monsters become stronger.
Although, after reaching the bottom, you get access to a ||diferent mine in the desert||, and that has some other stuff

you join worlds with cabins and no you can't take your farmer to another world, you start a new character
