Fish aren’t used for money often later on so Angler doesn’t feel worth it, Pirate can give some pretty good items

If you're really close to 6, something like wheat which only takes 4 days might be good. But if you barely hit 5, a bigger xp crop would be more beneificial, but takes longer to grow.

Either way, I suggest Poppy. 7 day growth time, and and still gives decent xp.

With only 4 days left, that doesn't really leave much option for crops in Summer then. You could buy a bunch of wheat seeds, they grow in 4 days. In fall, Cranberries grow pretty quick and are overall decent profit.

hey guys, i just started this game and feeling a bit lost. I got the quest in my journal to get my farming ability(?) to level 1. Im assuming i get this by just farming more seeds? also how do i get more gold quickly? im deciding on whether or not to build a coop or a farm (zero clue on that too) and quite honesatly got no idea what to do. yeah just planting and harvesting the starting parsnips is enough to give you farming exp. As for money, farming and fishing is the way to go early game. It comes a bit slowly in the beginning but it will quickly add up later on. Overall, just try to enjoy yourself and take your time. Becoming friends with the towns folk will also help you down the line.
