Fruit trees are best planted in the green house. Buy only the ones you need to finish community centre.

Fruit trees take 28 days to grow so apples for example must be planted in summer so they can produce fruit daily in fall.

The greenhouse lets Fruit trees produce Fruit any day of the year. You can fit 18 in there. So 2 of each with room to spare!

there should be a mod that is a stardew valley Turn-Based RPG, where you can recruit certain NPCs to your party, enchant and upgarde your weapons so they do more thinfs in combat, and the different npcs have different weapons and abilities. like Dwarf could use bombs that take X number of turns to explode, Marlon would just be a kickass sword master, Krobus coul use shadow magic and use the return scepter to ensure automatic escape, gil and will could get involved, etc.

Don't skip the cutscenes. And watch the TV every morning before you leave the house.
Clear just enough space to plant the free parsnip seeds you got and water them. Then head in to town to spend the 500g you got on more seeds; potato would be best.
You can plant these as well if you have the energy. If not, you can explore and pick up any forageables you see.

My advice to new players is to not skip the cutscenes. Then watch the TV every morning before you leave the house because it will give you game tips and recipes. Finally, go the Community Center route and don't buy a Joja membership; completing the bundles teaches you about the game, and you will miss out on learning things if you do the Joja route your first time.

i just begun a new save and i had 25 basic sprinklers in the ground by spring 13 year 1, my 100 strawberries need no watering at all and all of my energy can go into other things

basic sprinklers do help you a bit with time with watering + energy if you don't have much food options

if you can, buy a sweet gem berry from the travelling cart on the next friday/sunday and by the end of fall it will produce a fruit which gives a free stardrop when given to the secret woods statue

very important to get stardrops
