There are fishing "zones" depending on how far from shore you cast. Deeper zones give higher quality fish. So it's not the max cast itself but the casting distance

It may be necessary to max cast to hit the deepest zone especially if your fishing skill ia low

Yep, fishing is a little more complex than it seems. Also note you can cast further sideways than up or down, and you can "bend" your cast

I think cranberries are a bit overrated, because most people don't really take the seed price into consideration.

If you're going to Pierre's to spend all of your money, you'll get more off of Pumpkins simply because you can buy more than double of the seeds.

If you already have the amount of seeds you need planned out, and you have enough money to fill that space, then Cranberries will be better in that space.

most of the time you're getting forage fruits which are very low value, the actual fruit tree fruit are quite rare
