early game is like doing mines, mid game is farming ||skull cavern||, and late game is what comes after completing CC, theres really no definitive answer to this though since its a sandbox game that spans over any amount of time you'd wish it to be, so some people can consider some things as early in the game, but others might consider it late game. for the most part, this is what people mean
