If you need the money that , just spend on crops. Just make you get the good value out of it..
I do it like this: Sell the silver and gold quality crops. The average ones I just keep it on a chest corresponding to the season I assigned to them. After a year, when I'm entering said season, I sell everything and start all over again

Seed makers are a life saving, specially for crops that grow back

When you start making more progression, you'll make money easier

watch the tv every day. The "Living off the land" channel is the equivalent of the in game guide

aside from that, don't be afraid to eat stuff for energy. Spring Onions, Chubs, and Salmonberries are the usual suspects early game. You get chubs from fishing, and living off the land will tell you where to get the other two

Basically stardew vally wiki is your friend. Always check the calendar so you dont miss out on npcs birthday, check their favorite item on the wiki. It's really worth it to give them the correct gift on their birthday.

If you're into farming, focus more on high selling crops, and plant some of the rest of the seeds for collecting in your chests. They might come in handy. For crops, sell the ones with higher quality and keep some basic quality (for gifting, quest, etc).
