Only cut the areas you need for buildings, animals and crops. Let the rest grow wild for a steady supply of wood (and seeds) and hay. Empty dirt gives you nothing. Of course you'll want to clear debris and weeds since those can be destructive, but wild spaces are a good source of resources.

I grinded on upgrading the barn to deluxe barn so i could get sheep for the animal bundle (wool). Everything else is just crops. Also bats for the fruits in the artisan bundle. The fertilizer too for the gold star crops

ok, I hve a questions about slimes. I need a lot, because I need to build more oil machines. I just got a slime hutch built, but I need some direction on what to do with it. I have the egg that I was given and have put it in the incubator, but can someone give me some direction on slime hutches please?

it's really up to you. The Joja Mart route requites $$$, which beginning game you don't have a lot of. To get the most gold possible, I recommend planting potatoes for Spring Year 1. Then on the 13th, at the egg hunt go to the Shop and buy up as many strawberries as you can (save these for spring year 2). For summer, I recommend blueberries. And for fall, plant cranberries. The community center route is easier because you can grow/forage/buy the items, but it takes longer. I've done both routes and personally prefer the community center route.

every day they'll drop sacs that drop slime and you can use the slime that drops to craft slime eggs, put them in an incubator for more slimes

and over time you'll just build up more slimes and you can get a good amount of slime to drop each day

the slimes can also randomly mate

make sure to keep the troughs watered as well

i set up a floored and fenced off area on the left to keep the slimes in, and I have sprinklers set up by the troughs to water them automatically

Heads up cuz I just figured this out myself. There's not really any options for controller configuration in the settings, and also no item stowing at all on mobile, even with touch. If you do use controller all the buttons and stuff work. You can do basically everything afaik that you can with touch controls, but you can't customize in any way. Options on mobile are pretty lacking sadly.

So yk be careful you aren't holding anything when you speak with an npc. Don't wanna give them something by accident.

The iPad was tied to Apple Arcade and I just tried Stardew Valley through a trial.

I enjoyed it so much I bought the game through Steam yesterday. 😆

I enjoyed it so much I spent more than 200+ hours playing it during the trial period!

Well, I'm used to not backup my saved files even in my other games. So I'm not really disappointed. 😆

But with Steam, it saves the file for me so I don't have to do it manually.
