hi! welcome to the server! here are some tips that can help you early game:

• take your time in the game. explore everything first. it might be overwhelming, but most of the things in the game are not time-bound.
• fishing is a good way to earn money early game. save up so you can buy strawberries in the egg festival (which is at spring 13th). get the training rod from Willy's shop, it'll make fishing a little easier.
• don't throw anything labeled as resources as you'll need them to make machines and other crafting recipes in the future

I recommend trying to level up your skills, you can also explore the mines a bit more. And since you won't have to take care of crops during winter, you can upgrade your tools as well so it'll be ready for spring. Lastly, if you want to, you could re-organize your farm

use your 500 gold on parsnips (all of them)

save your gold star parsnips and maybe 1-3 regular parsnips since you might need it in the future ir something then sell the rest

buy potato seeds using the money that you got from parsnips

when its potato harvesting time, save your money until 13 and invest all of ur gold on strawberries. you wont regret it i swear

also you should befriend caroline and make her 2 hearts. when youre already at 2 hearts with her, enter the room in their kitchen and youll get a cutscene. the next day she'll give you a tea sapling recipe. each sells for 500g so its easy money. sell them raw and dont plant them if u want money
