Continuing the early food train, don’t forget your salmonberries! I managed to get around 134 of them and they fed me from the 24th to the 9th or so of summer. if you died in the mines and lost it there you can go to the adventurers guild and get it back for 5k g

all items you lost when you died actually

otherwise maybe you placed it in a chest somewhere and forgot about it

Actually if you lose your axe in the mines, a basic version will be next to your bed the next day (or in your fridge / lost and found box at Lewis’)
Same with scythe, pickaxe and watering can

IF youre rich you can just buy them from clint and robin. if youre not, you can make a tree farm inside your own farm or on other locations (use tree fertilizer, it will make ur trees grow much much faster). for the ores just mine floors where ore is common, use bombs to maximize the amount you get using as little energy as you can
