late game fish depends on what supply you want. Sea Cucumber for lucky lunch; squid/midnight carp/flounder for seafoam pudding; super cucumber for irid ore; postgame fish for postgame materials. Basically, if you need a repeatable supply of fish for cooking, put it in a fish pond. If a fish has a drop rate of an item you want, you can put it in the pond.
