mushrooms spawn daily and are a good early source of energy. bats bring fruits that stack up through the week, better for players who don’t want another daily chore. picking bats saves you some money not having to buy as many fruit tree saplings layer on. but either way you get to a point it evens out and neither choice will influence your game too much.
