It is still pretty good for makinbh money, but it shouldn't be your main method, since there are many other, better ways of making money.

seeling tea saplings is 500g per, which is wild considering the input cost is like 5 fiber 5 wood and 2 wild seeds (you get 10 from crafting)

level up your foraging and you get the crafting recipe. It's always just one of each foraged item

in the mid game you get seed makers, and one specific foraged item per season creates wild seeds in the seed maker (iirc it's horseradish, spice berry, mushroom, winter root; but idk for sure)

it only produces leaves once per day and only in the last week of the season. Just click on the sapling and it'll drop the leaf

don't get me wrong, shroom cave is better, but it's not better enough to reset a save over. If you feel strongly about it, you can go and tinker with the save file to change it, but honestly I still wouldn't bother.

coop + 4 chickens is a fantastic early investment. Open the little hutch door so that they can go outdoors and eat grass, and craft some mayonnaise machines to make mayo from eggs. (You want a Silo either before or immediately after the coop. Talk to Robin to construct them)
