I wouldn't look at too many guides or the wiki for your first in-game year or two. The game is much more magical going in blind

I will say that I recommend growing a few of every crop every season because you'll need them.

Certain crops are much more optimal for money, but all of them have some use.

And having to wait a year to plant something you didn't grow that season hurts lmao

Starfruit seeds are hard to get right? I just got one from the museum. Should I plant it and then put the fruit through the seed maker? Or does the plant only harvest once and therefore putting it through the seed maker will only restart the progress of only growing one plant? Im sorry its a bit of a longer question

You can put them through the seedmaker more than once, so you can produce infinite amount of seeds

Welcome, don’t apologise! If it’s early game, most people just grow the fruit and maybe wine it or just sell it raw, don’t bother with the seed maker. There’s a much more prevalent way to obtain starfruit later, which vil has said because I’m slow lmao
For now, I’d use the money from the fruit to get other seeds or to work towards the vault bundle :3

It depends. Animals produce large products based on two factors: friendship and mood. If you pet them every day and let them eat grass in spring, summer, and autumn and use a heater in winter, they will produce large products pretty much consistently.

The only other conditions of them not going outside is something blocking the door or it raining. They go outside sometime in the morning, but I don’t know if it is consistent. I would recommend shutting and opening the door and restarting your game the following day.
