What we have in stardew is the appearance of randomness, but basically things are predetermined through seed, time of day, and ither circumstances

Crop wise what should I do to get a good start in spring y1 - I’m thinking plant the seeds it gives you and buy more of the starter seeds with my 500 and get potatoes then spend all that on strawberries for the rest of the season

What skill should I work on in between planting - it seems like mining is most practical for later in the game

Fishing is fine until your split screen game lags mid-catch cuz you are playing on Switch so you lose the fish

Early on fishing is really good for money

Which would also boost your crop plans

But yeah, mining is important, sprinklers are really handy

Are the starter sprinklers even worth getting? I crafted like 4 in my world other world and it doesn’t seem to make a difference

I use them for flowers

They can be good if you really know what you are doing, people sometimes use them in minmax runs

But generally speaking i wouldnt recommend them
