Crystals usually drop nothing. There's a really low chance they drop refined Quartz

But it's like... maybe a 1%? It's low. SO unless there's just a bunch in one spot, don't worry about them

In summer melons and blueberries would be the best! Save the blueberries for preserves jars and kegs, while the peppers are also a good source of income. If you're on the summer year one then you're going to want to buy at least two of each seed although. Quests are random!
