when you’re counting how many days seeds will take, don’t count the day you plant it on, since the seed doesn’t actually do any growing on that day. so in your example, wild seeds take 7 days and you’re planting them on the 21st, so if you start counting from the next day you’ll have 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 (7 days in total) meaning they’ll be ready for harvest on the 28th hope that makes sense

In spring, Lake is best, in summer I believe it's river, and in fall and winter it's ocean I think. I know for sure Lake is best in spring though
