Excellently reasoned, but with two major caveats. (1) If you have enough machines to process everything (remember, Winter is immediately post-pkins and has no farm growth) then maximising total profit is better than profit per day. (2) This also presupposes the existence of preserves jars, which are, frankly, not useful for lategame crops other than pkins. Might as well save the effort of crafting jars that will sit fallow for most of the game and just keg them.

watch the TV every day. Weather forecast is nice, don't go mining on bad luck days (luck affects ladder spawn chance), and always, always, always watch Living off the Land. That's the in game guide.

For now, the biggest limiter you have to "doing things" is definitely energy, so don't be afraid to eat stuff if you need more energy (eg. to water more plants, cut more trees, fish out more fish)

there are two main energy sources right now - first is spring onions. Take the south exit from your farm, go further south until the river, then cross the river using the bridge to access the island on the bottom right. Spring Onions grow here every day. Sometimes only a few, sometimes like twenty. Pluck them, eat them. Don't sell them.

Second is Chubs. It's a fish species. Fishing is very profitable in spring (mountain lake beside the Carpenter's house in the sun, forest river in the rain). Chubs are just a byproduct of fishing for profit a lot. You catch them and they're not very $$$, so you eat them instead

In SDV, investing money makes more money (mostly in seeds -> crops, but basically everything is profitable). And so early money snowballs. You don't want to tie up too much of that early money in seeds for literally next year. One to five or something, that's fine.

@ambersgone for one, there are technical considerations: Stardew uses peer to peer multiplayer, there is no central server, so someone's phone would have to host the game. Also, the multiplayer version of the game has worse performance which is significant for many phones
