I'm really having trouble with fishing what tips do you guys have?
Fishing strategy:
This is the strategy used to counter behaviors of fish. This strategy works for non perfect catches, but this guide is more biased towards getting perfect catches even on the most hardest fish. Even with the best equipment, it is not always reliable to rely on your equipment.
• Always have the fish at the near top of the green bar. This is because the speed of the green bar is slower than the fish dropping down than it is goes up.
◦ When dealing with fast fish such as catfish or sturgeon, drop after a certain period to get a head start. This strategy is best for fast moving fish and when it is at the top of the bar as often times it would drop down faster than the green bar could drop.
▪ Best recommend 2-5 seconds depending on the numerical difficulty of the fish.
• Rhythmic clicks are best when the fish is at the middle or bottom of the mini game.
• Long pulls are useful if you’re uncertain of the direction of the fish.
• Try to mix and match strategies to be effective.
Here are my tips that aren't using a setup
For setup
Use fishing food buffs which increase fishing level. Increased fishing levels increase size of green bar.
Cork bobber increases size of your green bar by 24 pixels
Trap bobber decreases the speed of catch rate decreasing when fish is not in your green bar
