Forest farm isn't too bad for starters, but the layout may be a litttle challenging because farmable land is less compared to the standard farm

The Standard Farm is definitely all-around a great farm for when you are first getting into the game, but really the only ones I would not recommend for a first playthrough are Riverlands and Beach given their constraints (size/shape of riverlands and no sprinklers in most of beach). That said, I did my first playthrough on Beach and really enjoyed it. I would say you can pick whichever and still enjoy it!
