scout is irredeemable, its multiplicative and your base crit rate is 2%, so you go from 2% to 3%. There is a niche use for hammers at combat lv10, but it's only niche.

My biggest tip is just play the game at your own pace, discovering things as you play. Don't try to minmax or focus too much on profit. Just enjoy the game.
But also, save some money for the 13th of spring and buy some strawberries. They're the best Spring crop.
If you're earlier than that, try planting some potatoes

Regular sprinklers aren’t super efficient, and they’re pretty expensive to craft for what they are. I suggest waiting on quality sprinklers and gathering materials while you level to farming 6.

Energy and time will be your greatest concerns. Since watering crops takes too much time, so try to get the materials to make quality sprinklers (unlocked at level 6 farming) and when you can try to upgrade your can to make watering easier for you.
