Why Slime Hutches you ask?
For Slime Eggs.
There is a 5% chance the egg will be purple (Sell Price 5,000g), 9.5% chance of red (Sell Price 2,500g), 21.375% chance of blue (Sell Price 1,750g), and 64.125% chance of green (Sell Price 1,000g).

Since there’s maximum of 20 Slimes per hutch you can get upto 4 Slime Balls/day

Each Slime Balls contain 15-25 slime, lets say it was 15 for comparison's sake.

So thats 60 slime per day,
So thats 1 slime egg every 2 day.

So u get around 500-700 gold per day with Slime Hutches, and that's assuming you're super unlucky by getting the lowest amount of slime & the lowest grade of slime eggs.

Best part about it? You didn't even need to take care of it every day.
