ancient fruits grow in all 3 season, starfruits in summer; but as cookay said if youre not that far yet dw, kegging melons and pumpkins is great too and then you got the kegs already built for later

Take out all stumps. Trees off the farm won't regrow if you don't. And stumps on the farm are just wasted, unproductive spaces. Plus you get extra wood from the stumps.

But it's counterproductive to clear out everything. Just clear what you need to use for crops, animals and buildings. And clear the debris. But allow the rest to go wild with grass and trees. You'll be glad for the steady supply of hay and wood.

I would also recommend going to mines as fast as possible. The sooner you get to level 80 you can start putting down quality sprinklers and really snowballing the amount of crops you have
