Kind of a stupid question but. How do you get back into the game after a short slump / motivate yourself to play? I'm in summer of year 1. I stopped playing for like 10 days due to very bad life events and I couldn't even turn on my computer, but for the 20 hours I'd played SDV was comfort game. I played two days yesterday but it felt like a drag, as if I didn't really have a direction. Do you have any advice?

honestly though, one advice i would give you is to not care whether you have a direction or not

play at your own pace, and see if you enjoy it along the way

A mistake I definitely did was have a farm way too big with only the community center reward sprinkler (covers 8 tiles). Every day, watering lasts until 9 - 9:30 AM and it feels like a very menial task. I'm definitely not replanting the crops I get for now
