@flat brook so once you keep fishing you'll get fishing levels which makes your green bar bigger which will defenitely help. The better rods will also appear in Willy's shop as you level up

Better rods allow you to attach bait and the iridium rod gives you a tackle slot where you can get many tackles which do various things and can seriously help you get those crazy fish

Go to Clint (before 4pm) and just check it out. You can upgrade almost all your tools, first is copper which needs 5 bars and 2000g to upgrade). Be careful though since it takes 2 days to upgrade (you can collect it in the third day)

the only harm in not watering, is if you delay/miss a harvest. otherwise, you don't need to water plants that you don't prioritize, and they'll just not grow for that day.

Especially with your watering can since your crops cannot go more than 1 day without water. You need to check the whether forecast and if it says it's raining the next day that's your opportunity. First you need to water all your crops and then give the watering can to Clint, so the next day it rains and you don't have to water your crops and then the day after that your crops can go one day without water and the third day it will be ready and you can water your crops before they die (this is the advice i got from the wiki when i started)

Mushrooms gives you a steady supply of mushrooms daily, which has some nice benefits, including very early food and steady income. Fruit bats give you random fruit which provide less income and less consistent early food, but provide good gifts and help you complete cc bundles.

i’ll share with you a really helpful graphic that’ll help you know what items you’ll need for the community center.

but otherwise some advice is to plant your first parsnips right away and spend some energy cutting trees so you can make a chest. get in the habit of storing at least one of each thing you come across. in a few days you’ll get the fishing rod and be able to fish, which makes good money. use forage/seaweed you find for energy and fish as much as possible. when the mines open you can start mining, which is also profitable. again, use forage and stuff you find for energy and do as many levels in the mines you can. the goal is to save up your money for the 13th of spring for the Egg Festival where you can buy strawberry seeds for 100g each. these are good money makers and regrowing crop. when you harvest them you can buy the backpack upgrade from Pierre’s to give you more inventory space.

Sf wine sells for 3150 with artisan and beer sells for 280 with artisan there is literally no way to compare them, if you planted 20 starfruit and 20 wheat you will make 55,000g from starfruit wine, with beer you will make 5,400g. Play how you want but don't lie for no reason bruh

Wheat is 2 seasons while starfruit is 1. If you don't have the greenhouse then wheat will be the way to go for fall.
