Not enough over regular bait to be worth it. Same as the chances of catching two fish, which is reliant on daily luck. Since you're presumably spending your good luck days in the mines and fishing on bad luck days, it's counterproductive to even bother with wild bait.

Get a silo before you get your animals so you can scythe grass to make your own hay.
Best thing you can do is let them eat grass. I don't even both penning them in the first year. I just put their buildings at the edge all that grass growing wild on the farm and let them have at it.
Hay keeps animals fed. Grass makes them happy and raises friendship.

Mines are my favorite aspect though, so I have spent time mastering it

To go down the levels quickly, you mined the ore next to the ladder and found the ladder quickly? It worked for me at first but it started being further out

I usually go for the ores in the floor first then start to break the "rock ores"

I don't waste time trying to find the stairs, I prioritize the ores

Usually I'll find then I'm the way

I like to go to the mines ASAP and get quality to grow the berries from the event

It's kinda grindy but it pays off not needing to water anything later

Btw, I have a question myself... does it make any difference to have more flowers around Bee Houses?

Cuz some flowers increase honey value more than others
