Look up a guide or something, minmax play is complicate if you've never played stardew before, even i am confused with the many steps and what-to-do before doing-the-next

I tried it once but immediately dropped it after 2-3 hours of trying, i just stick to playing normally and enjoying the game as is

You clear the farm get some seed grow some crops go fishing day 2 before that meet up with the npcs sell the fish harvest parsnip craft a scarecrow get some more seeds gift all the npcs to get hearts and just repeat till you unlock cc and mine. Afterwards it's just a matter of repeating the cycle while occasionally diving down the mines to get ores on a lucky day

After you've got enough resources and money you can start getting farm animals, most recommended is pigs to get truffle, and some kegs to start winemaking also some bee nest for honey and preserve jar

If you save your strawberries from the previous egg festival plant them next spring spring year 2 if you just started and start making some strawberry wine for your first batch of winemaking

And them it's just a matter of fixing the cc and getting more upgrades like unlocking the bus to get starfruit, unlocking the greenhouse for ancient fruit etc. That's all the things that you'll need to do if you want to get a lot of money

+1 to this play how you want to play. My sister got me into Stardew and plays in a really chill way. On the other hand I reset my farm after failing to get year 1 community center my first time playing. Different strokes different folks. That's the beauty of stardew you can play, you can rush, you can do whatever you want and still enjoy it
