Files with the extension .zip, .rar, or .7z are archive files, which you can extract to get the actual files inside. For a .zip file, just right-click (or long-press on Android) it and choose the option like extract or uncompress. For .rar and .7z, you need to install third-party software first, like 7-zip https://7-zip.org on Windows, Keka https://keka.io on macOS, PeaZip https://peazip.github.io on Linux, or ZArchiver https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.zdevs.zarchiver on Android.

modern laptops these days sold are 64 bits so it doesnt matter if you download 64 or 32 bits in most circumstances. either one works since 32 bits is backwards compatible with 64

oh welp only saw this when I finished, tho I did find a chrome extention that allows me to just paste all the purple text and it will extract the links and then with a click open them all in seperate tabs

I have about 200 mods downloaded, and everytime I either load up the game it takes ages and whenever I change location the black screen is there for about 10 seconds, im assuming this is due to lots of mods but my game isnt laggy and im getting roughly 60 fps so is it just some mods take ages to load? and if so is there a way for me to tell which mod(s) it is?
or is there a specific type of mod (as in map mod, or recolour) that causes this?
pytk + tmxl are considered to cause particularly long loading times (in connection with other mods at least)
the screen transition lag probably shows on the smapi log

Regarding ARM vs x86 - PC Stardew does not work on ARM anyway, does it
a bunch of mods patching stuff on the transition... i'd try checking SVE's config.json for the seasonaledits or something like that option, and putting it to false if it's true

now how to find out which mod is triggering the edits might be more difficult. i think medieval craftables has an option to either enable or disable that kind of edits

in this case it seems to be so. and to be clear most of those mods probably aren't doing anything that needs such conditional edits and probably don't have conditional checks for them, it's just that their edits are reapplied too when another mod edits the same assets that they do (i think)

Found ID conflict: there are two custom 'objects' items with the name 'Oat Seeds'. This may have unintended consequences.
that comes from fruits and veggies i think? so i'd try removing and reinstalling it first
unless you know another mod that adds oats

well, it's a content patcher content pack making content patcher do that edit i assume, so CP itself is not so much at fault

So I have been playing stardew since around the start of the pandemic, and I mainly made files just for making nice farms and that kind of thing. A couple weeks ago though, I started a file with only qol (Quality of Life) mods. Today though, I opened up stardew and clicked on my file, it started loading, and then immediately went back to the title screen. I tried going to my saves folder and the file wasn't there, I couldn't find the save-backups folder in the mods folder, tried tons of troubleshooting options, and nothing. I noticed my smapi has a massive error on it that I will post below. Can anyone help me with this? (EDIT: Thought I found a fix by going to another computer with the file synced, but didn't know it would delete the save if I launched the gameš„ )
Also I learned I deleted the save backups mod when I installed smapi. Really stupid of me.
I clocked like 12 hours into this file and have gotten pretty far. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

If it says āContentPackForā in the manifest it wonāt be there

Someone mind explaining how i can change the id's or properly rename 2 crops that for some reason have issues
tried to rename but after launching they would change back to normal
after so many mods the only thing keeping me going is butternut squash id/name D;
is the problem that there are two crops (and/or produces of the crops) with the same name? in that case it's probably easiest to delete one of the duplicate items from the JA content pack they are coming from

you said you uninstalled it, but if you still get the duplicate warning it's probably not

doesn't look like there's warnings about duplicate items, so that part seems to be fine (though the warning No idea what 'Butternut Squash' is! isn't necessarily good either)
yeah i didnt have this problem until after I uninstalled the mod, I was able to change vanilla extract conflicting with artisanal soda makers and oats conflicting with Bonsters
I ran the game without the core mod installed and it said the id was 4699 so it I believe was loaded from a different mod
after reinstalling jsonassets I no longer got the Oat issue which i received again after uninstalling the mod

the crop seems to be loading, but there might be something wrong with the produce

It's one of the two files named "Stardew Valley" that show up as Unix executable filesāthey may be easier to find if you sort by Name

Hm well, basically what happens is that- if a NPC isn't loaded by a mod, and then you try checking info related to the npc (e.g friendship, hearts, etc) the game will tell you the token wasn't found. And proceeds to show you the ones that are available
That, or the NPC is excluded somehow (i think antisocial npcs has that function?)
If Daia isn't giftable, you probably don't have a relationship with them, and therefore can't check relationships
The maps one might be Serene Greenhouse loaded Maps/Greenhouse.

UI Info Suite 2 works and does pretty much the same thing
Note that UI Info Suite version 2.0.0 is not UI Info Suite 2

it literally tells you what is wrong right in that message: you've installed the same mod twice
You dragged and dropped instead of delete/reinstall, most likely
basically, yeh, you need to delete the TMX portion as it has the same internal name as the STF portion
I deleted the file and reinstalled it twice but it still didn't work I think I'm missing something

What do you mean by where they go?
It will say "Mods go here: some filepath"
And that's the location of your Mods folder, which is where SMAPI gets all the mods from
If you aren't deleting SVE from there, or you missed some part of it from there, then you will still have issues

Fullscreen with 2560x1440 doesnt display correctly and framerate stutters and drops whenever walking. I doubt the mods im using are causing this im just not sure how to exactly fix it

Does combining similar mods into the same folder, such as retexturing ones, help the game along at all? To group them cohesively
I have All Professions and Farming was the last skill I got to level 10. Yet, every night when I sleep, it asks which profession (Coopmaster or Shepherd) I want to choose. It should only ask that once, the night I hit LVL 10. No idea why it keeps asking me to choose.

(the instructions on how to use the mod are still only on the nexus page for the mod i think (the nexus version is outdated and doesn't work))

The only errors I can understand is that "ģ¤ķė(didt)'s Interior" and "GH's Peach Body" has missing files, so you should get a fresh copy.

And for some reason your pets' assets is either gone/can't be accessed

Yes it is safe. However the json shuffle means some weirdness may occur with objects.

the mobile UI is different than the PC one, and made are generally made for the PC one
so installing any UI mods on mobile is very likely to have issues

It's likely replacing the Standard farm unless said otherwise by the mod page.

Okay, so. I am near my breaking point.
Other people have tested my Mods folder for me and couldn't replicate this issue. It's only on my end. I uninstalled SDV completely, removed SMAPI and reshade too, did a clean complete reinstall and this still remains.

As far as I can tell, Stardrop has no way of replicating Vortex's option of resolving conflicts via manually choosing which mods load in what order. Stardrop simply cancells both/all for the conflict, and moves on. Am I missing how to do so, or does it simply act for you, forcibly choosing none of the above?

I'm a complete novice to modding in general, so I might've done the process incorrectly, but I followed the installation guide for Expanded to a T.

I'm having a conflict with my furniture mods. It seems the Mi's furniture mod wont load the Birch table correctly. It's being replaced by the furnace with Blacksmith Furniture. All of my tables are furnaces. I am using the CP version of Mi's. I've tried reinstalling and reloading the mods one by one. I don't know where the conflict begins or ends since it was working before.

content.json? I haven't seen that file, I must be looking at the wrong folder
what's the full filepath?
content.json is typically in the very first folder of whatever mod you're working in
along with manifest and config
make a new folder for your music track, then add the track to the folder, and create a manifest.json and content.json which can basically be done by copying an existing one and just changing the track name in the content.json and the Unique ID and other relevant details in the manifest.

wait the only way I got to marry Sandy is through Free Love mod and there's no content.json file
We're having a giant list of errors in our modded game.
We built a coop (everything was fine). Then we built a silo (it was being constructed just fine). Then on the day the silo finished, we also bought some chickens and put them in the coop. The day appeared to work as normal, but we couldn't enter the coop. (SMAPI log: https://smapi.io/log/8b064a02783e4695a42c66a04a4fd125)

Any idea where we should go from here to troubleshoot? Any help would be appreciated.

Well you dont have to download it but it does provide events and stuff
ill be honest i know barely like 7% about how JSON files work, but that opening bracket you have after "settings" doesnt look like it has a closing partner

Artisan Valley Machine Goods 3.0.21 because it requires mods which aren't installed (mizu.flowers, paradigmnomad.morefood).
I found mizu and slid it into my mods, but morefood isnt coming up on Nexus, and I have more recipies and EvenMoreRecipes in mods
To be clear... don't uninstall Stardew Valley....
Only uninstall/delete the Stardew Valley Expanded mod and then re-install it.
Also, note that you have both Grandpa's Farm & Immersive Farm 2 Remastered installed. You need to choose which one you want and delete the other.
There will be an error messages if it tries to load both farms.
