That's a good one....I do use it. I was hoping that the information could be put up on the main gameplay screen on the top right, like UI info Suite does with birthdays, traveling merchant, etc. so I don't have to go into the cellar (lazy???).
Get Automate! It's a life saver, and you can just dump a bunch of fruits / veggies into a chest and it'll automatically fill up the kegs when something is done and put it in a cask to age if one's attached

again, you need to look for versions of the mod that were released before december 21, 2020
thats the only way to mod on android unless the author makes an android compatible version
check the files tab for any older fle versions from that date and before too
many mods have archives of their older versions

Hey y'all. I recently installed Ubuntu Linux on the desktop in my office. Trying to get Stardew Expanded on it. I've previously successfully installed it on Windows/my laptop. Got my mods all ready. Trying to install SMAPI. Have installed Mono. Installed all the packages from the Mono website, including mono-complete. Every time I click on the Linux installer in the SMAPI folder, it gives me the "Oops! Looks like Mono isn't installed. Please install Mono from https://mono-project.com/, reboot, and run this installer again." I've rebooted and it still isn't working. Thoughts?
Have done mono version to make sure it's working. Gives back version 6.12.0.122

I definitely tried to do my best to solve on my own first. Checked Youtube tutorials. Installed everyting from the Mono website. Checked Reddit. Most of the people I'm finding with a problem similar to mine are on Macs.

The Android version of the game is quite a bit different from other ports and so needs a custom version of SMAPI. See https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Installing_SMAPI_on_Android for details on getting started.
Please note that on iOS, no modding is possible
They just dknt fit into the screen properly
So @fast vault it's important to know if you have iOS or Android
Best with phones with big screens like samsung note phones or smthn like that

There are definitely some users who successfully use mods on Android, but the available mods are more limited and the support we can provide is also limited since most of the people here who know a lot don't use Android mods
Generally, your best bet is downloading the most recent mod from before 1.5 release. So the one right before December 2020.

Okay, it's definitely possible but you should be aware that a) it's more difficult, so you may need more patience and a little tech know-how and b) fewer mods will be available since not that many people develop for Android specifically

Which only uses like 4gb of memory max.
But a 64-bit version is in the works and should be released soon-ish
okay so: launching from steam gives me an error, launching from vortex works, but for some reason the stardewmoddingapi app is no where to be seen in my folder

theres no memory cap in 64-bit, it can use more than the usual 3-4 gb 32-bit was able to use

you most likely need to delete SVE and reinstall it manually
vortex doesnt do well with expansion mods
(or any stardew mod)
Vortex is poo and likes to eat files and not install things properly

Mod managers aren't recommended because of how simple it is to install things manually
All you gotta do is install Smapi, which is probably the trickiest part, admittedly, download your mod, unzip them and then put them in the Mods folder that Smapi creates

The error message is a .json file having some sort of typo(?)
and Event Repeater reads the same file
so that's why the errors are the same

put SVE back in, sleep for a day, exit the game, remove SVE, launch the game, sleep again so SMAPI can be able to remove the NPCs properly
SMAPI removed the SVE NPCs fine for me
Not sure why sleeping would make a difference besides adding another day?
finally finally finally got things working
i always assumed you needed to sleep a day to get rid of the warnings in the log about "(did you remove a custom NPC?)" 
(I mean yeah, definitely sleep at least once if you're going to go vanilla entirely, but there's no difference between playing with SVE and "gonna stop playing SVE after this day" 😄 )
If you sleep a day with SVE installed, the NPCs will still be in your save hehe
SMAPI removing them and telling you about it is just doing its job, but in aubrianna's case it seems to not be doing that.

Here's the version a day later, saved after SMAPI removed SVE and whatever else you had in your save, but I'm not sure why SMAPI didn't do that for you... maybe reinstall it? 
I think it's cause it's not loading Daisy's tilesheets.

If you updated Daisy's then yes, post it again if it's throwing up errors
Ugh, I just looked at your log again and realized why it's not working - you don't have the bundled mods SMAPI installs, like Console Commands and ErrorHandler and Save Backup. ErrorHandler will clean out the NPCs for you.
Did you download Daisy's tilesheets again, even though you had already downloaded it? They did another update right after the first one to fix a problem, so make sure you download again even though you got it.

At least it does something for you. There's not even an indication that it's installed, for me, minus its presence in the mod config menu.

You can also check whether the version has incremented
if it hasn't, then definitely still broken

that is going to extremely heavily depend on your definition of fun
expanded storage...though it's a tad glitchy right now
for example, I consider it extremely fun that my gates open when I get close (Automatic Gates mod)

people have been getting different results but, for example, the most recent version for 1.5.5 has some visual gltiches with chest contents not visually updating until the chest is closed and reopened for some people

I think I removed it for being buggy in the past, but I'll try redownloading it and see if that helps! I've been trying to get rid of some of the dependencies but missed a few 😂

There's no tutorial about it afaik. If you want to download from Nexus, you have to go to the Files section, choose manually download (or use Vortex), choose free download and then wait 5 seconds, it will download automatically.

They're trees that produce flowers. The Farmer to florist mod gives info about magnolia honey, so I thought it would make honey

i'd suggest advanced beehive mod - lets you craft a second kind of beehive which can have flowers inserted into it
so it can make honey indoors, or in winter, or with tree flowers

yeah I copied my mod folder did a clean install of the game as well as smapi and then pasted it back. Smapi isn't reporting any errors now

(iirc, it was originally made for bethesda games, and is fantastic at handling those, but in stardew valley modding it is prone to deleting the manifest files)

You'll need to reinstall fresh downloads of all the mods in the first red text chunk - the one full of "because it contains files, but none of them are manifest.json."
you should also update your mods and make sure the other player(s) also update their mods

We use MO2, which puts mods configs in an overwrite folder. Smapi cant classify those configs because we deactivated them
We didnt bother deleting them yet, because they didnt do any bad
But we did so now, and updated all the mods in love of cooking

(you can figure crops anytime anywhere to turn off the "anytime")
SVE on mobile is 1.11.4
mobile version of stardew runs on 1.4 and needs mods made for 1.4; these versions of the mods will be either special for-android versions, or versions from before december 2020

extract the png, and make an AT content pack for your mods
its honestly super simple, and theres even a mod on nexus that provides the template and everything
