My Expanded immersive farm won't load with this error message:

Hey, I was trying to change my PPJA mods to the DGA versions and have come across a problem on a few of them: fruits and veggies, more trees, and mizu's flowers in particular. I completely deleted the PPJA version before installing the DGA version as well. I don't have a problem with other DGA mods, so I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what the issue is? Hello! Just wanted to know if it was normal that NPC map locations wouldn't show the Npcs in coop. The host didn't have the mod installed and I couldn't figure out how to toggle it on.
I've already tried everything from "Show all villagers" to "Only show with a specific friendship" options, but that didn't seem to do anything.
For some reason this only happened in coop, so I was just wondering.

so i'm getting rid of Fallout NV to get more into Stardew and see if having more than 310gb is gonna help my stuttering problem(which probably wont) but ay, at least i got extra 22gb now

you're missing a bunch of mods (not whats causing your issue), open the log and check what you're missing to download

id say windows since it gets rid of the memory limit the game can use, but all of windows, linux and mac are getting the update for things beside the memory stuff

I really like the UI info suite, though some parts of it I turned off to use other mods
like the scarecrow/sprinkler ranges, I use data layers for that instead
(Water Bot made the list hehehe)
Personally, I like Stardew Vally Expanded, AutoGate, AutoAnimalDoors, BiggerBackpack, CategorizeChests, FastAnimations, HarvestWithScythe, LookupAnything, LovedLabels, NoFenceDecay, NPCMapLocations, PonyWeightLossProgram, SimpleCropLabel, WearMoreRings and WinterGrass
looks like a long list, but most are quality of life

So uh, I'm trying to update to the 64bit beta, since despite using the Linux fix I am still getting out of Memory Errors despite using 3GB for my RAM when it's throwing the error, I have 8GB of RAM so I was hoping the beta could maybe help. Well I have SMAPI throwing the same error as Fable from yesterday where it says "oops this dll is deleted." I do NOT have it in my SDV folder and the file is there. Any idea why it's throwing the error and an idea to fix it? I have it in My Documents folder and not in my game and I have no idea why it thinks the file isn't there since I have the firewall and such turned off.

I've seen a few people having the issue when it was in their SDV folder, and they fixed it by moving the file. But I never had it there in the first place.
can you try completely deleting it, download it again, and install it from your desktop?

The latest version of Content Patcher needs changes which are in SMAPI 3.12.6 or later. (The custom build in that thread was 3.12.5 with a changed version number for testing.) If you're affected by the mystery macOS issue, the main fix currently is either:
(a) keep SMAPI 3.12.5 for now, and don't update mods which need a newer version;
(b) or update to Stardew Valley 1.5.5-beta and SMAPI 3.13.0-beta, which seem to work fine for everyone on macOS.

is there any use for havested weeds? any machine that will turn them into anything useful?
If I am running my tractor with the scythe going, it harvests weeds instead of turning them into fiber... I am not sure exactly which mod is behind this, but it clogs up my inventory

Post your logs so we can see mod loadout, if you have any harvest with scythe mod that’s likely the culprit
I do run the Harvest with Scythe mod that lets you bot pick & slash harvest... thing is, even when I use the sycthe when I am walking, it still turns weeds into fiber. It's only when I use the tractor that I wind up with (useless) harvested weeds, so I was giving the mod the benefit of a doubt
I didn't see any eaasy option to disable that in GMCM, but I guess I could dig into the guts of both mods and see if there's anything there
As far as I’m aware Tractor just runs the same code as whatever the tool does, so it could just be a side-effect of whatever changes Harvest With Scythe does to the Scythe

It would actually be very simple to add a recipe that turns weeds to fiber...
Does that happen if you remove Harvest With Scythe temporarily?
Or add a PFM rule to just about any machine for transforming them.
Maybe 2 weeds to 1 fiber if you're getting a weed for every plant.
I was thinking the same thing... just add a "weeds" item into one of the machines.... actually, there are various plants that I've grown (for decorative purposes mainly) that are supposed to be fiber sources, but I see no way to turn them into fiber
I disabled the scythe mod in my mods list, but have not run the game again yet
(And the loom would be fitting for transforming weed into fiber)

yes! I have a "paddy" field on my farm that I have various wetland plants growing in and pampas grass growing on the edges... papyrus and the pampas grass would be plentiful sources of fiber (as they state) if only I had a way to make the jump from plant to fiber

Manual install for some is a bit tricky to learn but it's far more consistent when you do learn it
It works fine for some games but others it's either not good at all or half works

That looks similar to the errors my Smapi spat out. I have mods though and it's throwing those on different cs lines. If I understand it correctly something is wrong with the code in SDV itself and not say...Smapi

Plenty of games don't work with sub folders....so it's something I always check before modding now

Using the most up to date non-beta build of smapi either when using the autofish or removing the autofish mod I run into a bug where the reel sound will not stop even after teleporting or doing something else. Sleeping does not fix it, and I am trying to figure out how to prevent this issue. Getting tired of having to quit the entire game to fix it.... Anyone have a solution?

Just keep in mind to read install instructions. It it says unzip and install, you should be good. If it has other instructions, follow those. Custom portraits or textures are the big ones.

Hi,hope im posting in right spot I was going to try and update to the new Smapi Beta and this has come up, I know its still in testing and that but this has happened and not sure what ive done wrong. When i try to open it wont open and when i try to run as administrator it does this. Not sure if ive missed instructions somewhere

hah that was what confused me so badly earlier. I got a new gaming rig with three times as much ram, so when I saw the out of memory error I was raging. "What unoptimized mod did I download eat up over 30 gigs of memory?!" then found out SV was 32 bit hah.

yeah, you can definately see it leak a bit even with the basic 1.5.4 client, which is why people with a big list can't play more than 2-3 days before hitting the red wall

LoveOfCooking won't run in the beta, something with assets, its about the only one I've found that won't run at all

They're not from Love of Cooking no, it looks like you're missing one of JSON's Assets mods
I still get those items in my game however it gives me "doesn't know what Lavender is" which is likely it mad at another mod that adds it by itself
The red text is all saying "path doesn't exist" meaning a file for those 3 bits is missing somewhere

I downloaded the latest version today, loaded the game and found that like.. half my mods werent loading (major ones being RSV and SVE)

and all these mods need PyTK

the only solution rn is 1) opting out of the beta and going back to 1.5.4 and downgrading everything to work with 3.12.6 OR 2) wait for an update

You can use the latest version but it cannot run SVE and RSV, you can get them to work in the non beta

it would be too hard to downgrade at this point
i have too many mods
you just click a button to downgrade if you're on PC so long as the mods weren't all crazy updated you won't need to change them
