originally i was thinking the "not far from the tree" mod was messing with my smapi cmd
so i removed the mod file and tried to run the game

Hey guys! I downloaded radioactive tools for 64bit and the only thing that shows up is the sprinkler and I have no idea if I did something wrong.
Read the description. The tools have conditions
If you have CJB Item Spawner you can also check if they're in the game... Or give us a log 
If all else fails, you can try delete Sophia's folder inside of Not Far From The Tree completely and seeing if that works
I deleted the whole "Not Far From The Tree" mod folder but the problem still persists
I'll update the crash log once more

How are you installing your mods? I noticed that the file names are long and SMAPI doesn't much enjoy those. Think you might have extracted to a folder named after the zip rather than a simple extract?
You also have which you should fix as soon as possible. Json Asset hates duplicates
The specified path, file name, or both are too long < SMAPI doesn't like the long folder names
I use nexus for mostly all my mods except for PPJA and i put radioactive tools in the mods folder directly

how it works is you have to first enter a command to let the mod itself know who to inherit the genes from, but i assume that me forcefully deleting the files left some residual code behind, which still prompted the command, and fails, causing the error?
The mod works by changing the texture name in the child data, so the save will break fail if you remove the mod (or if the mod doesn't load the asset correctly). If you want to keep using the mod, I suggest reporting it to the mod author so they can take a look. If you don't want to use the mod anymore, I can manually fix the children in your save file if you send me a zip of that save's folder: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves.

Does anyone know what "libpng warning: Duplicate iCCP chunk" means/comes from? It doesn't seem to impact functionality, but I originally thought it was from having custom furnitures with the same ID, but I renumbered them all to have different IDs and it's still happening.
Separately, I also have "zip warning: No such file or directory" happening about 20 times, but only every other game startup. Not sure why, doesn't seem to hurt anything.
Finally, I also have "[SpaceCore] GetLoadEnumeratorMethods: Found 1 transpiler targets, expected 2" as a warning.
None of these are really critical but I feel like I should maybe make an effort to fix them?

I also find that it takes a really long time to enter/exit buildings on my farm go to/from my farm, but I narrowed it down to a combination of the seasonal cute characters and the map recolor mods, so I figure it's just the price I pay for the graphics changes.

Sadly since the game runs on the 32bit architecture you will experience such slow downs as the game is limited to 4GB of memory.
This is very common when people pile tons of mods into their game or only a few large mods.
I'm leaning into the slower pace and I've named my farm "Sleepy Hollow Farm" so it's all good π

Hi y'all, so I'm having an issue with my main save file, the save opens and runs fine, but when I go to save it at the end of the day, it crashes and when I open the game my Custom NPC mod that works with SVE doesn't load correctly. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it didn't work.

EDIT: It works fine with a keyboard and a controller. I removed all mods except SMAPI to test and the results are the same. I'm running the x64 version of the launcher, could this be the cause? Does it work through Steam with 2 controllers locally?
Okay, think I have one final question. Everything is working 100% fine when playing single player. It's only when I add a second player locally I'm having issues. For some reason only one controller can be used at a time and I'm not sure why. The Player 1 controller only controllers player 1, but in order for player 2 to start moving player 1 has to stop moving. It's strange.

So i got the Linux version downloaded, ran the 64bit installer, it connected to steam did its thing.. when it says do you wanna use the files to install I press 1 and it spams folder doesn;t exist.

If you mean the 64 version of the game, you can't use it without having SMAPI installed for it

First, I couldn't use another Ginger Island farmhouse replacement, cause there'd be 2 mods trying to change the same and Second, since the mod has an option to change the type of grass but not and on-off option, I won't be able to make it work along with More Grass + Flowergrass and snowfields
I use it with more grass, and all that and it works fine, Hakuna

Mod managers aren't good to use, they often break and mess up the folders and files of the mods you're trying to download
Puts them in weird spots or outright deletes them when it's not supposed to

The items are created VIA JA, and the item data using CP (only with fish and some other things)
JA cant do the fish spawn data and other stuff, so we use CP instead and JA only to have the object in-game

Alright, me again, I tried closing all programs besides smapi but I still keep getting the oom error. I have 4 GB of RAM on a 32 bit system and I always have around 2000 MB of physical memory available, so I'm curious as to how much RAM SDV Expanded actually needs to run?
Also, I read somewhere that the Custom Music part of the mod consumes a lot of RAM, so would somehow disabling it fix the issue?

so from what i understand, the fish name and and their id should still be visible in the json asset's id table right? (CP only aid the process of spawning fish into the world and make them catchable). But i cant seem to find them in the id table (for one thing there is no ids-fishes.json file or something similar, as well as any of the newfish id taken from CP in any other .json file in the JsonAsset folder in my save file)
If possible I'd recommend upgrading to 8gb, or really 16 gb
You can get away with just about anything with 16 gb ram

Looking for help on a warp error - Warp Snitch didn't generate anything (it also never crashed, I had to manually close), but it happens when I try to walk out of the desert to the Ghost Town. My best guess is that SVE's desert doesn't play nice to warp to the desert with WTTDR installed.

I'm familiar with that error (if it's the NPC error I think it is) and have the fix in place. Lemurkat actually worked with me to figure it out and provided the fix. This is something else. NPCs are behaving fine. And I can go from WTTDR's Ghost Town into the desert fine. Just not vice versa.
Does anyone know which mod adds more flower bouquets and changes the mermaid pendant icon to a necklace?
My current best guess that I just thought of is that the recent WTTDR update changed the name of the Ghost Town map and SVE is trying to warp to a map that doesn't exist.

Custom_WTDR_GhostTown is the name it is now, from what I can tell
Custom_Tarniyar_GhostTown is what sve is using
okay, so it might be impossible to do compatibility with both versions (unless either of them has other unique ids that are different)

The compatibility issue with WTTD is fixed in the next SVE update. (wasn't aware they changed the map namespace)
I think we just need to make an annoucnement with mods when either the Unique ID is changed or map names are changed.

@tired brook I hate to ask because you seem to be handling about 60% of the Stardew Valley modding that goes on as it is, but would it be possible for you to make a variant of your Vortex extension that supports managing deployments for the 64-bit version of Stardew?
The obvious issue that Vortex complains about if you try to manually point it at the 64-bit version is that the filename is "StardewValley.exe" instead of "Stardew Valley.exe" so if that's all the problem is it seems like a trivial fix, but of course that might just be the tip of the iceberg, I don't know...
I wrote the original extension for Vortex, but it's maintained officially by the Vortex team now. I suggest sending the suggestion to the Vortex team (I think there's a feedback button in Vortex somewhere?) so they can take a look.

Sounds like an issue with one of the mods installed by the other players. Do all the players have exactly the same mods? Does one of them still have Not Far From the Tree installed?
I'm positive that the "Not Far From The Tree" mod is giving me problems. I'll sync my current mod folder with the others and see whether I can save the game when there are multiple players in the world. Will write to you if I encounter any issues along the way

@trail shard it works just fine with the 64 bit.. if you make a file named Stardew Valley.exe in the folder (note, for some bizzare reason PyTK does NOT work with a file with this name in it, it tries to load it as an assembly. so its fiddly renaming every time you have to open vortex, the other option beyond getting Vortex to fix it, is go into vortex folder/resources/app.asar.unpacked/bundledPlugins/game-stardewvalley/index.js, edit it with an elevated notepad, change line 30 where it reads this.requiredFiles = process.platform == 'win32' ? ['Stardew Valley.exe'] and remove the space. (basically what this line means is if you're on windows, look for this, otherwise look for the nospace version..which doesnt help us with x64. Vortex will complain that you 'edited' it, but it otherwise works
obviously the 'best' way is to get vortex to fix it, but after playing rename games for a day or two I gave up and fixed it myself :p
Wonderful! I had actually looked at the code because I was able to find where the source was on GitHub, and I thought that making that edit might fix it, but I couldn't figure out where in the file structure Vortex was hiding the extensions it already had nor what to do with the code from GitHub if I were to download it and make the change. I didn't think about making a dummy file named "Stardew Valley.exe"--I did try renaming "StardewValley.exe" to "Stardew Valley.exe" which seemed to work at first but then went very badly wrong
yeah, when I initially had vortex unable to find it, I copied the exe and made it with a space.. that initially worked, until I loaded pytk
pytk for some bizzare reason tries to load the 32b exe if it exists, its the only mod I've seen try that, but it obviously breaks in that enviornment
Ah, maybe the PyTK issue is what I ran into and just didn't realize that's why it stopped working
