i've thought of switching to xnbs for the mods I basically use in every single run because my load time is getting sad, but it's actually the updates in game that cause the most annoying lag rather than how long it takes the game to start. I've been digging through my mods trying to delete any lines that make the game update on location change or anything like that but it can be hard to find them all

XNBs definitely load faster, but they dont have any of the superpower strengths of CP, like conditional patches, multiple edits, and virtually no conflicts
