the save I am currently trying to beat into playing nice is the core PPJA set (not Farmer-to-Florist though), Maes' stuff, Saturn's stuff, Champagne and the "sweets" (Bakers Life, Chocolateer, Fizzy Drinks + Artisanal Sodas). Plus all the fish mods, most of Lemur's NPCs and a few others, and most of the non-SVE expansions

As far as I’m concerned the mod I’m trying to install only needs SMAPI to work so I don’t know why I suddenly can’t update it anymore

a couple of things could happen. One, unzip the mod again and check the manifest. It's possible Corel forgot to update it. If so, manually change the number to match what is shown on the Nexus page

two, something could have glitched. Remove the original mod folder, put a fresh copy in. Don't overwrite.

None of the characters in SDV are part of an earth culture, so changing them from one fictional group to another fictional group isn't racist, because they don't have races to begin with. We don't even know if skin colour is heritable in the SDV universe, give hair colour doesn't seem to be.

There's a button underneath the screenshot button that takes you to the files on your computer

I'd recommend keeping Reset Terrain Features around as well, as removing and adding mods on a active save can mess up the terrain and such, so it's always a good idea to reset it every now and again xD

I've used HCE and had it work, but I had to set the chance to 100%, make sure the crops are next to each other and that an tile that is adjacent to both of them (can be diagonal) is tilled

I was going to do a content pack for it, but got too frustrated with the mechanic. I wish that it worked like when you harvest you have a chance of getting a hybrid fruit or seed, rather than requiring an empty tile

It's super simple, literally drag and drop. on the mods tab, you drag the dependency icon from one mod to the other. 🙂

hey so basically i have mod bugs flying around (moths, ladybugs, dragonflies, bees) but when i catch them with the bug net, they are either caged seagulls or "Error" which is a bunch of green lines. it's weird. i can catch butterflies and fireflies fine, but the modded bugs are not vibing :// helb?

For updates, my standard process is to install the update, wait for the deploy to finish, then switch the version, wait for the deploy to finish and then remove the old version and wait for the deploy to finish. And only do 1 mod at a time. That seems to minimize the number of issues for me.

well... the way bug net works is that when it "catches" a critter, it is substituted for a "premade" icon of that critter inside a jar/cage etc.

if there is no premade icon, you don't get a caught critter

it could be because of save anywhere, try rolling back your save and see if it helps

in the Log Info section, look for mods that have errors, which will be counted in the rightmost column of the table
just below that table, and before the actual log begins, you can filter the log by message type, and one of the options is for errors

but that log was so long that my browser was lagging because i tried to filter it
