Any advice on how to reduce lag during gameplay? Someone here suggested downgrading Spacecore to the 1.5.2 version and that took care of 60% of the lag alone

@native grail you could try editing seasonal outfits so it doesnt change indoor/outdoor as that caused a significant lag when entering or exiting buildings. Otherwise cut back on your mod load. Oh and set preload of custom music to false.

@native grail I see you are using my seasonel outfits pack. if you want to disable the indoor/ outdoor sprites you can just use the optional multiplayer file, which doesn't have them. it's the only difference between the files.
I did not. I can't drive and my boyfriend is hungover so I'm not home yet until tomorrow

yeah, I want to re-write the mod in the next version so you can turn them off with a config file and the extra file is not needed. But I have a lot to do right now so it's in the future ^^
Hopefully it helps with the lag although I'm not in winter yet so indoor/outdoor changes do not occur, unless the game loads them even if it's not winter

i don't think it does though. You can always see in the patch summary what is loaded and it doesn't try to when it's not winter

when ever I try to use the oven when in the house I start floating with no walking animations jsut a weird shake the menu opening noise is on repeat ti says a kitkchen applince is already in use when clicking it again and spams this error inside of the SMAPI console only fix is restarting the game

yes, you can have any farm you want
grandpa's farm and immersive farm are entirely optional. and sve comes with grandpa's shed (it just has a little path to it on the bus stop if you're not using an sve farm)
Okay so, would anyone like to test out my "Swimsuits at Luau" mod? It makes it so NPCs use their Island Resort sprites/portraits during the Luau

Funnily enough Demetrius' beach sprites already have those, but they're his normal sprites', so all I gotta do is just... turn his pants into shorts for those sprites lol

The best solution is not to use Vortex tbh... it's rather touchy about Stardew mods.
So download and install manually should fix the missing files.
In this case, "manually modding" is moving the folder into your Mods folder. It's not too difficult ๐

hm, looks like you might have launched the game without smapi and then on loading the modded save it crashes because of modded data in the save file

NPC Map Locations recently changed how it works. You'll need this mod if you want custom NPCs to work properly.

When a mod doesn't work, it's generally a good idea to check the comments or the bug tab in case someone else has had the problem and already reported it. More times than not, there will also be a fix there too!

When updating mods, should i delete the existing folder for the specific mods instead of overwritting it? wouldn't that get rid of my save data for that specific mod?
I've heard that overwritting files can give you issues, but I want to make sure!
Your save data is loaded in a different folder (outside of the mods folder)
I think only Farm Type Manager has 'save' data in it's mod folders
but yeah it's preferable to:

config files usuallly keep their settings
- Move your config to a safe place
- Delete the old files
- Download the update
- Move your config back

[Content Patcher] Can't apply image patch "Primitive Artisan Equipment > EditImage TileSheets\Craftables #12" to TileSheets\Craftables: target area (X:112, Y:32, Width:32, Height:32) extends past the right edge of the image (Width:128), which isn't allowed. Patches can only extend the tilesheet downwards.
i got this error twice, but i don't really get what's causing it. This was supposed to be a patch for the furnace

i edited the image but, the issue was that i accidentally put the coordinates for the preserves jar

They're sold by ||Zoey|| in a shop called ||Joja Emporium||. Only becomes available after players have 100% completed the Joja Route and have Morris at 10 hearts.
I can put the heart condition on, so they only get them if they have 10 hearts but went CC anyway.

Make several folders. Name one "Mods_Farmer1", one "Mods_Farmer2", etc
And whichever one you're playing with, name it "Mods"

I don't use vortex myself but I think it copies mods to its own folder, not the regular sdv mods location? so you have to find where vortex saved your mods, if that's what you're having issues with
it does both actually so now that im thinking about it folders might be preferable
There is a mod that allows you to create custom mod groups for different saves, I coulda sworn, but I don't remember the name.

reading the link is so much easier than explaining every possible thing that oom can mean in each scenario. as someone who has tried to code before i feel that pain
especially with looping code
when you forget the 1 single addition the prevents it from repeating more than the normal amount
which is why "call" is easier to use

If you check the console/log, you should see a lot of 'CraftingRecipe.ctor: Key already exists' errors, right?

It should usually only happen with Love of Cooking installed since it builds a list of all known recipes, but any other mod that tries to read a custom recipe that's missing required mods can have that crash, too

I think I might have an idea as to what it may be, so let me try it real quick
The console window should open alongside the main game and show up as a second icon in the taskbar on Windows: if not then you've launched StardewValley rather than StardewModdingAPI
The only other thing I can think of is a mod called lovely kitchen
You might want to search your log for 'No idea what', since JA logs warnings when recipes are missing ingredients
the crash is specifically caused by some recipes missing multiple ingredients from required mods, so the direct cause is the mod adding new recipes
Sometimes it says that, but the item will show up anyway
It only turns from a broken recipe into a full crash when the recipe's missing 2 or more ingredients
Hmm maybe I need to delete a few mods that don't have the ingredients for some dishes

Save Anywhere doesn't work that well iirc, because the game does a number of checks and settings at day end that it doesn't capture.

you have few duplicate mods, if you look in the log on the page it tells you where the duplicates are Custom NPC Exclusions because you have multiple copies of this mod installed. To fix this, delete these folders and reinstall the mod: Mods\Quick mover of mods\Custom NPC Exclusions v1.3.0-7089-1-3-0-1613615295\CustomNPCExclusions, Mods\Quick mover of mods\-Stardew Valley Expanded--3753-1-13-2-1622584578\CustomNPCExclusions

Hmm it doesn't look to me as if anything's changed; the face shape is still vanilla as far as I could tell and the shoulders are still pretty wide. Maybe something went wrong.

You can use Diverse Stardew Valley and toggle all the characters to vanilla. There was Seasonal Villager Outfits, but that's not being continued as of right now.

Yep! Windows is the only platform without native 64-bit support, and you have to download the linux version to get it
Your default install for linux and mac are both 64-bit already

Having a small issue, on Linux with mods my game has small stutters every couple seconds. It's a little annoying is all. It does not occur with the exact same mods on Windows, nor does it occur on Linux when I remove all the mods. 
Should also mention it's on the same exact PC, and I do not have performance issues like this in other games
