a lot of mods are fine unless they warn you they'll break saved games
Map changing stuff can be game breaking, a lot of it can be fixed by reset terrain features but I've had weird stuff happen even using that.
ie like.. switching to something like seven deadly after playing sve.. that would need a new save

haha.. no I really do play.. I've just been frustrated lately trying to find a balance between what I want, and what will actually play.. was lagging literally every 2 seconds until I fixed it
I mostly just really like production chains, so I am trying to focus on that this playthrough. So lots of crops and machines
turned out to be my farm map, of all things.. too much graphics with all the trees I grow
Just occasionally have some issues, Gus almost has infinite scroll atm, so many things showing up 6 times at least. for example
Ahh okay, I have my special trees in the greenhouse atm. Still trying to get more money so do not have that many trees yet
i'm having problems with stardew valley expanded. for the most part it works but the forest is broken
I have a very large plot for farming, my animals, and then the rest of it is full of trees so.. I had to find a stable farm map that would handle it w/o lagging out

so update those, especially SVE and zoomlevel, I reckon

Do you use a mod updater? Make sure you have the latest updates enabled
no i update them manually and it's a pain.
honestly.. I would redownload them all, and before putting them into your mod folder, delete all the ones in there.. make sure to get all of it, like if one has 5 folders, all 5 need deleted
cause.. those updates are probably why your game's not right
and make sure to pick up the updates from smapi.io for the ones that are nexus broken
i don't even know how to get a mod updater. it would help instead of updating 200 files

The short version is don't update or install mods while a deploy is happening. ๐
Yes, you can get there when playing as male, and if you play as female you can get there without mods by trying to enter from the poolside door multiple times

.. at least I think the noises are part of the mod
You have many conflicting mods
Two content packs want to load the 'Maps\Forest' asset (RC Foraging and Stardew Valley Expanded). Neither will be applied. You should remove one of the content packs, or ask the authors about compatibility

You don't have to delete either mod to romance Haley. Platonic Relationships doesn't change dialogue, so you can just give her a bouquet as normal, and Platonic Partners and Friendships is configurable, so you can just exempt Haley from the platonic list in the config file.
IS there a mod that adds the extra crops you get to non-Pierre shops (so like traveling cart in winter)

Hi I installed SMAPI with content patcher and a few mods ran across a problem when donating or organising the items in the museum the mouse stops working and I can't move it at all the same happens when placing or moving buildings and animals. All mods are upto date I unistalled every mod so the game was vanilla and it worked fine I installed SMAPI only and the issue was back! Any help would be appreciated thank you, โค๏ธ

Yes. Json Asset cannot have duplicates or your console will literally explode

Ah, it's not really 'required' but recommended. However that recolour hasn't been updated for 1.5, nor do I believe it's fully compatible with SVE for example

...having this many mods is making me wish that there was a tabbed shop menu mod that split places like Pierre's up by mod. ๐

My current loadout is 609 mods. Stardew is much better at handling massive amounts of mods than most games, and I'm trying to craft a very immersive and long-lasting experience. ๐

Well, there are lots of mods missing, from a quick glance, it looks like you need to install or update Content Patcher, which should fix a fair amount of the erros you have, And then also what shekurika said. ๐
Is there a mod that disables that "space" in front of the farm cave?
Alot of the missing mods are in vortex, and it just doesn't detect them.

They're not loading because Content Patcher isn't installed and/or updated.

You also have a number of outdated mods, including Stardew Valley Expanded which is causing your TMXL errors.
So my suggestion would be to do the following: Install Content Patcher, Remove and reinstall Stardew Valley Expanded, Update Json Assets, Producer Framework Mod and Mail Framework Mod and then see how your errors are looking and report back if you still have them. ๐

I am trying to download the "Content Patcher" from the NEXUS mods site. I click to download, but I can't find where it downloaded if it did at all. It says to "please make sure you have these (SMAPI-Stardew Valley Modding API) installed properly to use this file. The SMAPI is installed. How can I make sure it's "installed properly"?
Nexus has a two-stage download for some downloads. You need to click download a second time near the top of that dialog box that pops up. ๐

Most house expansion mods will not allow you to change the interior, such as wallpaper and flooring. Farmhouse Redone allowed this, but has not been updated yet for 1.5. If you don't mind not being able to change the interior, I know some people here use a really nice house mod. I just can't remember what it is.

On the weekends it doesn't show the vendor in red, either the sprite or the portrait. And usually that vendor tends to carry JA machines, but they don't. And during the week sometimes the red vendor sprite will be there, but not the portrait. Sorry, I'm not sure of the names

It technically works with every mod.
Ridgeside doesn't touch any vanilla maps outside of:
- Adding fish to the beach
- Placing a pillar for the cable car on the backwoods map
- Placing stairs at the top of the bus stop map
It might cause some issues with festival maps (NPCs standing on top of each other) but if they're reported to me I can move the RSV NPCs

uhm.. Yoong, you need to find the missing files you need on nexus, and reinstall your farm map
to be honest, it's easier to manually install unless you're very very comfy with vortex

I would delete the fresh meat alternatives for now if that's the case, cause for some reason smapi is seeing that as a vortex folder
I had PPJA Content Pack collection initially which is all of these- Fruits and Veg, More Trees, Mizus Flowers, Fresh meat, Fantasy crops... all that in one download but I deleted it because there are no update keys in the big one for the individual files. I installed everything manually after uninstalling Content Pack.
thinking it was an update in an individual mod giving me issues but alas
ok, try deleting and reinstalling the pack one more time.. and readd your farm, then send another log.. if you don't mind
just make sure to delete all versions in your mod folder first

I did have one. But it was outdated (with no update) and not loading to begin with. So I did replace it with Barber-ella.

I added a custom character to the game, but decided I didn't like them ad tried to removed them, but the game keeps trying to load their file even though I removed it from the mod folder
(I guess) Bcs of theyre saved in your save file or idk
it shouldn't though, smapi usually deletes info on that charcter

I mean.. it should give you a warning the first load after deleting it, but once y ou've saved that day, you shouldn't have an issue as far as I know

most mods now have cp.. using straight xnb will mess with your save

To clarify, SMAPI writes a log every time it runs. So as long as you're running SMAPI, you will have a log

@real stratus Hmm, I had the same issue with CF items not appearing on a different mod, so it might be an issue with CF? For what it's worth, the Secret Base CF pack includes a lot of Pokemon dolls and it works fine.
Unfortunately they don't appear in the item spawner so you can't magic them in, either.

Ok I believe that's a Json Assets (JA) issue, and those tend to create big red walls of errors so you can try this below

so i think i worked out the interior issue! if i only want the ground recolor from a recolor, mod is it ok to delete all the asset folders except terrain ?
i tried to load it in later but it's overtaking the mods i want for interior/furniture etc

You'd have to edit the content.json as well so it doesn't refer to the files you're deleting. An alternative would be to change the dependencies

Changing folder names is not a reliable way to change the load order, as you found. You can instead set dependencies, which is more reliable (see this quote)
so apparently i really screwed up and i dont know how. I decided to delete all the file archives in the folder because i already extracted these files. Well, when i did that apparently i got rid of something i shouldnt and now my sdv does nothing but error out in smapi and close by itself
it would be pretty impossible to just upload this as well, it only lasts a few seconds

If both recolors change 100% the exact same things, yes it would. However if they recolor different things with some overlap, whichever mod loads last will win the overlaps. For example:
Say mod B recolors scarecrows and a lamp, and mod A recolors chests and the same lamp. Setting mod A to depend on mod B means mod A's lamp recolor will win over mod B's lamp recolor.
