A lot of dialogue expansion mods do add it so that you can talk to them multiple times per day. Depends on the mod, but in my Harvey dialogue mod I made it so that sometimes you could talk to him 3-4 times per day.
If you're looking for a total overhaul of all the dialogue I can link the big dialogue expansion that most people use, I think

considering you can make bombs already in the crafting menu, i'd suggest making a smoke or tear gas bomb that lowers movement speed/stuns enemies for a period of time

Are you trying to open up Stardew Valley through the natural color mod? You should unzip the mod into the mods folder and run through the SMAPI launcher

@humble relic - Someone else mentioned it, but that it's not happening without mods is a potential hint. Try SMAPI with no mods and see if it loads slowly. Also, you might make sure SMAPI is up to date.

All you have to do is click the zip folder, copy everything that's in it, and then paste it in the main stardew folder

Once you add a group and the load time suddenly jumps, you may have found your culprit.

It sounds like you're missing a Visual C redistributable.
there is a mod that lets you do that. in a way. tmx buildables
albeit the buildings you can build are limited and not many people have made useful buildings, except for the greenhouses
Yeah I don't see any either. Falsify, I'd personally use another recolor mod that can just be dropped into the Mods folder instead of this one, mostly because it seems like people are having a lot of trouble with it, too

the downside to tmx buildables is that they only cost gold as far as i remember, and that they're instant. so its kinda cheaty

Hi does anyone know anything about the mod SpaceCore? My computer crashes Stardew when trying to load the game with all of my mods. It warns in SMAMPI that it can corrupt save files. It says,
"These mods change the save serializer. They may corrupt your save files or make them unusable if you uninstall these mods
[SMAMPI] -SpaceCore"

the issue isn't from SpaceCore, that warning is harmless. the crash is likely caused by something else, but we won't know what until you give us a SMAPI log as the bot said above!

hey folks :) im really new to modding and I wanted to ask a question on adding mods to an already existing modded save. I was planning on starting a new save file with some larger mods like ridgeside village and SVE and adding some smaller ones later once theyve updated, specifically the seasonal villager outfits mod. would this mess anything up in my save since its only a texture and sprite change or would i be okay to add it?
Texture mods are perfectly fine to add in :)
If it's a texture mod that replaces the same of something, however, like Rabbit Floof then the old rabbit feet don't stack with the new rabbit floof

I'm not a mastermind, but I had a look at it and it doesn't seem to have any errors. Maybe try the mod without other mods, especially without the other Content Patcher Mod (medieval buildings)? If it still doesn't work, its most certainly the golden scythe mod that is faulty
Well, medieval buildings don't touch anything scythe related so i doubt it may be the cause 
ye its like a texture pack to buildings
I think so too, it shouldn't interfere, but the only way to be sure is to test without it
Or to be the mods author and know it's not affecting any crop data and that's the only file the golden scythe mod seems to change

wren, if you have an issue with sundrop i'd suggest taking that directly to the authors rather than starting drama about it here (i'm sure you don't intend it that way, but every single time this issue gets brought up it ends up with people fighting about it)
The hair is a CP pack I made myself by adding hair from various mods to the original tilesheet. Everything is lined up correctly, but some long hairs seem to cover the sides of skirts and others don't.

Hello! I have a bunch of mods including SVE and etc on my copy of stardew, but I'd like to play multiplayer with a friend on her farm. Do I have to uninstall my mods when I want to play with her and reinstall them when I want to play my farm?
You can either make a mod list or disable your mods by renaming so that there is a . in front of the name. SMAPI doesn't load mods named, for example, .disabled 🙂

You can also just run the game from its vanilla .exe instead of with smapi, and your mods won't get loaded. Don't try to load a save file with mods through that though, itll crash
my friend has been having issues with sam after marrying him? for some reason he was getting stuck at the enterance of the farm so he got rid of immersivespouses thinking that was the cause (im the host and I never had it so there was no change to my game) but now sam completely disappears after the morning and he cant talk to him anymore (we have the cell phone mod, but I can chat with him just fine)
apparently according to him he's glitching through walls when he walks but for me theres nothing wrong with him

i notice that one of you has some custom furniture mods and the other doesn't, and there are a few other mismatched mods. in multiplayer it's usually best to have all the same mods except for ones that are purely aesthetic
right, I dont use the CF mods since CF seems to be outdated, so neither of us have bought any custom furniture, i believe the only other mod differences we have are dialogue related
but i can afford to get rid of the CF mods anyway since I cant even use them

no, it sounds like taking it out is the way to go, it doesn't work right in multiplayer according to the mod page

yes, to play vanilla you'd just launch the game by going to the game folder and using the stardew valley exe, or temporarily delete your steam launch options

hey guys, I changed my farm to the upgraded hilltop farm recently, so my pond was removed in the process, leaving the crab pots floating in a cliffside; the issue I'm having is that the crab pots seem to be stuck there now. I removed the mod and attempted to remove the crab pots, but they wouldn't budge. It let me put bait in them though, so now they have products.
I've played most of this season on the upgraded farm, so I really don't wanna bother with restoring a backup save. I was just wondering if there was a mod/tool that would let me erase the crab pots entirely. Thanks!

If you care about characters, any dialogue expansion is a nice addition to vanilla imo. Doesn't change much gameplay wise, just immersion

Are you referring to Adopt n Skin? If so, that has an unofficial update for 1.5. Check the compatibility list for a link below.
I don't think there are other mods similar to that for other textures. Customize Exterior exists for buildings, but it's not been updated for 1.5 yet.

Go to the disposition folder, open the content. You change {{Loe2run.ChildToNPC/FirstChildBirthday}} and {{Loe2run.ChildToNPC/SecondChildBirthday}} to the date you want. Those used to work, but haven't in a while sadly.
What do I input to change my child birthday to summer 1 for example
This token returns the child's birthday in the form of "day season year". For example, you can use this value when creating the NPC Disposition.

Upgraded Versions of the original Keg, with improved space efficiency. The Kegs come in Copper (x10), Iron (x25), Gold (x50), Iridium (x100) varieties. They are meant to be fair so I made the recipes

eh, 12 spots in Subnautica gives you the space to have all your tools in your hotbar. I also use the 1x1 inventory mod though. :V

Actually, you definitely wouldn't be able to modify an existing cask with PFM - the whole reason I didn't think it could do what I wanted it to do is because it doesn't support casks. >_<
(I basically replicated the function of casks in an entirely new machine)
I've used Delivery Service/Automate to basically setup an Ancient Fruit pipeline from the Jumino Huts -> Kegs -> Casks such that as soon as casks finish processing they immediately have exactly the amount of wine going in without building up a backlog. Two seasons later and you're generating millions of g every week.
And work one day a year. ^.^

Similar to what I do, although the harvesting and shuffling is manual.
But I also use the tractor mod, so harvesting goes just a tiny bit quicker.
(I also have the 150x300 greenhouse mod, so I kinda NEED tractor >_>)
Yeah, I only do Jumino huts.
Automate could use a tiny mod that holds off on auto-selling stuff that can be used in recipes that are attached to the chest.
IE, if it's attached to kegs, it only sells keg products and not the input. If it's attached to casks, it only sells iridiums.
Delivery Service works as a good intermediary though, since you can filter what you shuffle around with it

Problem is, everyone's gameplay style is different.
So my set of mods wouldn't work for @clear acorn , for example.
Because I like my uber-capacity casks and tractor and giant freaking greenhouse.
Whereas it sounds like @clear acorn prefers their experience to be a bit more stock-like.

Yeah, there's good mods for different types of things. I go for "Mostly stock game but automate as much as possible because I'm lazy" so Automate/Delivery Service/Better Juminos/Deluxe Autograbber are the bread and butter there.
But if you're looking for other things like "I want to expand the NPC experience" or "I want more content to explore" or "I want new machines and recipes to tinker with", those are different questions

The last line in the log is from Json Assets AddedItemsToShop event, but that triggers when it's opened, not when the game crashes

It seems like almost all of your errors are coming from NPC map locations. In addition to updating your old mods (listed near the top of the log) and deleting some of the mods that are incompatible with 1.5, I'd remove NPC map locations, see if it runs, and then if you really want to, try and re-install it
i would just use CJB cheats menu to instant grow it? do you need to test all the stages tho?
every time i try to update the mods that need updating there isn't an update available! i click on the link that smapi gives to update it to a newer version but it just redirects me to the same version 😦
npc map seems to have that issue with locations added by CP (rather than TMXL)

hello problem again - the game is really jittery when it opens and the only explicit issue is the NPC map mod - WHY?????????? i'm so confused 😭
it probably should be, but I haven't installed any mods recently, just updated a few.
I think I will erase everything and install one at a time, hard but it works :)

Greenhouse Gatherers looks like it's supposed to be up to date, but you don't have a lot of mods that seem like they'd trigger at the end of the day in the first place.
still giving error, even uninstalling the 2 mods: /

@sick cave - as for your issue, I'm not sure what to tell you. It seems pretty obvious that there's an issue with something and the NPC Locations mod, but I can't even guess what.
