Maybe it's also because of the beach map but it looked a bit awkward. Lower half brighter than the rest of the map and the other half drowned in the sea

One of the bundles on the Community Center just completed automatically and instantly, without me going there and adding the items into the bundle. I didn't receive any reward and no other major bundle (can't remember the name) spawned at the Community Center

where i didnt realise there was a smapi update, i forced the version down. yeah was my fault. ill go put myself in the corner

i guess because it is a hassle to always read mod description. It is easier and safer to apply take out config, delete, then add config again

no, but as the config generates on load-up, and gmcm allows changes on the title screen, you can get your options back before loading a save.

I've been using toned down valley mod but I spotted some glitches in certain areas using this. Does anyone know if there is any way to possibly fix these? or is there any other recommendable mod that does a similar job, like recoloring the interior?

I’ve had the same issue. There’s no way to really fix it without removing the mod. I have it and rustic interiors and just live with the two tone door thing.

Actually, some of the doors are still half colored after removing the toned down valley one, probably due to other mods but I can't figure out what might be the reason so it would be nice if there's anything to do with the door

Hey, I'm just updating smapi and all my mods and I've noticed the game is running a little choppy? Every second or every few seconds the game skips. Once all mods were up to date I hoped it would go back to normal but it hasn't
Any idea if this is a known problem?
Ah I just realised that I did not select the preferred setting in the config file. I guess this could have been the problem

It depends on what mods you're running
If it's mostly content that's slowing down your game, then that can hopefully be improved through updates to Content Patcher
A single SMAPI mod can lag your game if it is coded inefficiently or if it requires a lot of processing to run
You can try posting your logs and anyone can see if something is running constantly or contributing to lag

Didn't help, still same problem and errors. What is confusing is that it's not the first section of a bundle I completed and there weren't any problems afterwards

Hmm.... your mod loadout is pretty light. I wouldn't expect any of those to slow down the game significantly.
Just noticed you also have Challenging Community Center bundles. Where I was going with that last suggestion was to temporarily disable the mods which affect the Community Center to see if they are the cause
So if it's not the Helper, then it might be the Challenging mod, and if so you could report this as an issue to that mod page or check if someone else has posted the same issue
It is them, the issue was reported on their Posts page, and the mod author has a fix for it

SVE Map Loading is slower now that they switched over to Content Patcher loaded maps
Hopefully that improves over time, but for now that's the case
is there any specific benefit to doing this over using pytk/tmxl

You can remove the festival spot code by either deleting it or using /* before the code and */ after the code
But you should only remove the files entirely if they only contain festival spot data.

I have created a mod that gets harder over time... I don't wish for it to be cheated though

How do games function if host has a game changing mod and guests dont?
Muti player is currently untested and not 100% correctly functioning. It's likely going to be a single player mod
id stay just dont bother with cheat detection
in single player if you get knocked unconscious it ends your day, puts you to bed and saves, regardless of the time of day. in multiplayer that same event code only puts you back to your house, it doesn't end the day.
you lose compatibility with so much, players can decide their own experience
I don't wish for them to, If they wish to play the way they want, there are a 1000 mods to allow this
Its my mod, play it the way it was meant to be
Most users will hate the mod, but the few like myself will love it. Its for the few not the masses
Its intended to be for vanilla challenge runs to 100% completion
Thus ideally why allow for cheating to 100% that would take a years worth of work and make it all for not
I think more likely not allowing cheating will take an extra year to block everything off and bug check, and make everything for not because it will break peoples games and they won't want the mod
Again after some time when the mod has gotten played for what its meant to be, I have complete intentions of opening it up to cheating. For some it'll be necessary to get though.

Breath of the Wild is perfect example of it having people playing in unintentional ways extends it's replayability and impact it leaves.
One of the beauties of Breath of the Wild is that it allows unintended solutions.
it has 10 difficulty setting allowing for 9.4million different combinations. Its meant to be played at standard difficulty then lower if need be. If you can make it through at standard, then there are 2 harder levels to replay
Each of the levels has the ability to be raised or lowered in game via player actions and an included machine
Each of the difficulty is controlled by skill levels for a possibility of 500+ Billion different combinations that could arise in the game over time.
Depending on your settings and you current levels
6 Tiers of Weapons, 5 Tiers of Boots, and Monsters that start with 2.5x the HP and Damage then they level up each time your Combat does as well

They will be allowed. Its mainly for mods that allow, warping, Cheat menu, Item spawning, Extra health or energy

@uncut storm certain mods are required by both and some not. usually if they add game feauters like extra pets you both likely need, but if your running mods for looks then each can usually have their own

most mods that add functions to the game are added via C# code.

Over the next couple days I need to finalize some weapon and boot requirements for my shops but then after that SDV The JOJA CORP Disaster will be ready for hopefully it's last round of testing. This isn't a quick test it's likely a 100+ hour test. That being said I will be ideally looking for a couple of testers besides myself. Yes, RSV is actually a collection of mods
And each component requires a framework to load
oh alright lol i was debating downloading it but i was worried about compatibility with all my other mods
It uses some of the most popular/common frameworks to SDV modding, and the point of them is to help ensure compatibility so you should be good
You'll need a bunch of the dependencies for other mods as well 
Lol I have a couple hundred mods loaded, compatibility isn't that big of a problem as long as you be mindful to prevent overlap
Hey, earlier I noticed my game was skipping after installing JA and its dependencies. So I did the usual troubleshoot of taking mods off, checking for improvements etc. Till I had everything off. Then I uninstalled smapi and tried base SDV and it was still choppy. I decided to do a fresh install on Steam and it fixed it. I then put all my mods back on, tested it and it was fine. But then I had to go off and do some stuff. Upon my return I've just seen it's doing it again and I'm not sure what to do 😕

A small mod like that shouldn't mess with the save, SMAPI will warn you if it does change the serializer when launching so you can uninstall before saving to avoid any issue.
This mod is also a content pack for Content Patcher (CP). The SMAPI mod compatibility list is only for C# SMAPI mods, it doesn't list content packs
There would be way too many to list, and as long as they worked on the CP version they were made for they should work on the latest.

It might take a day or so? I'm not entirely sure what triggers the cutscene but if I remember correctly it happens when you leave your farm house in the beginning of the day.
I kind of think of it like....if i'm gonna keep a venomous animal, I still want it to have a nice enclosure, instead of a cage looking thing

Yeah, have to wait for a new version of CPA. Until then we just have to live without (at least I do, the new SVE requires the new CP and SVE doesn't keep up old versions.)
If you don't have the latest SVE you can downgrade CP to 1.2 until CPA is updated.

The difference between Content Patcher / TMXL for adding custom locations only happens when loading the save. Once Content Patcher adds it to the save, it's completely identical to a vanilla location and entirely handled by the game. So if players are experiencing unusual slowness in-game, I'd be interested in more details. (And aside from the initial TMXL => CP migration, even loading the location is almost entirely vanilla.)

Question about grandpa's shed using the expanded mod. I tried to deliver all of the goods, and got Robin's cut scene, but I'm not able to see the finished shed. That being said, I'm not the first player. Do I need to be the host in order for that to work?
if it's a splitscreen game it would be

or
player_setmoney 100000 screen=1
0 being the host and so on

No one might have an answer for this, but I can't get Magic working for my farmhand. Ive had it working in the past, but this new character can't seem to get it working. We both have Magic installed - in fact all the same mods. Anyway she doesn't get the mana bar or skill ui on the screen and it won't let her use skills. I deleted the event from the wizard so she could "redo" the tutorial and after that sleeping that didn't help. She can use the alter and "place" skills in her tree but still can't use them. Any ideas?

don't know much about it, but someone posted this The Mana Bars mod only shows anything if you start the day with mana, so you have to sleep after getting magic before you get a mana bar.

I find that quality fertilizer and having lots of 3x3 tiles of the same cauliflower, melon, pumpkin crop increases your chances.
I've got a row of cauliflwoers sprinkled with the magic fertilizer so fingers crossed

I'm having three recurring issues: Bigger Craftables crashes at startup (a random nexus user mentioned it happened on mac but not on windows, I'm on Linux so that could have something to do with it), NPC Map Locations crashes when loading a save and fills up my log no matter what version I use, and the game has an issue with Marnie's schedule involving her shed (with SVE). Of note: attempting to enter said shed softlocks the game in an eternal loadscreen, so something seems to be fucky with the map. the xnb file for it appears to contain...nothing but a message saying there's no secrets in the xnb file (wat?) and tiled doesn't work very well on linux

Hi! I got a question regarding signing in to the Korean Stardew Naver cafe. So I did succesfully manage to get a Naver account by verifying my phonenumber. But now, to get into the cafe I apperently need to verify me with an iFin pin. Now I have no idea how to proceed. Have someone managed to get around this?

ConsoleCommands is from SMAPI itself, so I'd redownload and reinstall SMAPI first
smapi from normal site of smapi but cjb is from nexus
Then delete and then redownload the ItemSpawner mod
