it's probably not a problem to remove them individually
the duplicates cause a lot of problems even if it's not a crash. at least you'll get rid of some thousands of error messages
(and they are not all from Mimo)

Looking closer at the posts, I think so? One person was reporting issues, but wasn't certain SVE was the problem. Someone else replied they've been using them together alright. Imma try it.
@marsh tree all i can say is that it seems to be related to the multistory farmhouse
then you have two mods loading the beach map Multiple mods want to provide the 'Maps\Beach' asset (TestMod, Content Patcher), but an asset can't be loaded multiple times. so neither will work
you also have the MACHINES ONLY optional file of artisan valley installed. in case you don't know, it won't do anything and is intended for modders to use. some other parts of artisan valley are missing too

We were gonna use the mod "Special Orders for Auto-Petter" to get an autopetter after the CM center, but we accidently didnt install it right and re-installed it after we completed the center. We're not getting any mail and we completed all of it in fall.
the new problem is duplicate machines from having artisan valley and the MACHINES ONLY files (so remove the MACHINES ONLY mods)

they are in a folder called [PPJA] Artisan Valley Machine Pack by default
if you don't have that then they should be the folder [JA] Artisan Valley Machine Pack and [PFM] Artisan Valley Machine Pack

the log says the [PPJA] Artisan Valley Machine Pack folder exists in the Mods folder, removing it should fix it
(then there are some other duplicates to deal with though)

yeah, there should be a different command line. try reinstalling smapi/updating smapi and pay attention closely to the command window popup. it should tell you exactly what to paste.
I didn't get a command line I used the one from the stardew mods page, The smapi installer just said to use the game as normal

So I seem to be having some difficulties with my mod (Isla). On some days, she'll walk off the dock right into the ocean (instead of along her usual path). I don't seem to be getting any error reports so I can't imagine what might be causing this? It's pretty inconsistent, and doesn't happen every day.

It does a lot more. It's the mod loader and allows all mods to work using SMAPI code
but its the hub for any kind of mod? like the simple and complex ones?

Hey guys, I'm just curious, does anyone using Windows have a life hack/tip for quickly downloading mods and keeping track of them? I used Vortex but it's not that great. I know SMAPI is great at making it easier to track it but I wish there was a way for me to mass-update all my mods after not playing for a while without having to do everything one step at a time

cooking class is thursday mornings, but you need to trigger the event with Gus and Penny first
and you can't learn to cook at it yourself, alas (yet, maybe one day!)

to see what his schedule actually is
do i go to that folder like for a smapi log or do i find it else somewhere?
just type that into the smapi console and it creates a file in the Stardew VAlley folder labelled "Patch Exports" or something

I think you're not installing your mods correctly or something yum. I am not sure what's throwing the red errors, but you're getting yellow errors for Adopt n Skin that would only happen if you're putting things in the skin folder of Adopt n Skin that aren't animal skins
my guess is JA shuffle affecting boots
okay so me and a friend are playing multiplayer, we're in skull caverns, playing modded, but none of our mods should affect what's happening, i keep getting random prismatic shards popping out of nowhere out of walls and stuff, and now this has happened. they're IN the walls, off the playable map, can anyone help explain this? @broken frost Seems like it might just need to use Game1.getFarm().GetMainFarmHouseEntry() to fix that, if you want to mention that when you report it to the author.

@tired brook Not sure if that's what the mod developer is wanting, though, as the point of the mod is to change the Return Scepter's functionality from just warping you to your home to allowing you to warp anywhere you have obelisks built on your farm to warp to, or the Island Farm if you have its Obelisk unlocked

Crop transplant uses a garden pot as the tool to pick them up.

You need to enable full grown trees, as it’s disabled by default.
But now there is an easy menu to do it if you have the generic mod menu.

I made Belos' portrait work but because it require Portraiture it's annoying. You put a copy of his portrait in the Portraiture portraits folder, then when you talk to Belos in-game you have to press P (or whatever you set Portraiture to) when you talk to him and the dialog box is still up. Then Belos (and any other Portraiture-using mods, if their portrait is in the Portraiture folder) should work after that

A small team (not me) has been working on their own slightly-forked version of UI Info Suite that has bug fixes (works with multiplayer and zoom, scarecrow range fixes, etc) and new features. The intention of the team is to work with the original UI Info Suite author and roll everything over into that eventually. More the delay thing (and the lack of working with animations). I regularly had my character as a Sprite while everything else took two minutes or more to catch up, plus hiccups that it would lag and stop working on trees for bit before kicking back in. I never got any SMAPI errors or anything, but it definitely a noticeable slowdown (and I decided I wanted my animations from Gervig more than Spritemaster). I didn't even think about it much because I was warned it would be a resource drain, and at this point I'm running 500 mods.

Hi, I have a problem with stardew valley extended, my friend has exactly the same folder of mods that I have, but he cannot join my coop game or host one as the game crashes over and over again. He has already tried to reinstall the game about four times, install and uninstall smapi, I even gave him the .zips that I downloaded so that there are no version errors but still the problem persists

@final citrus The level of light is not static in mines. Some levels are bright, some are dark. And the mines also vary depending on in-game RNG and daily luck. That's just how they work. I don't know if SVE touches the mines, but I'm quite certain they don't change the luminosity of any of the levels.

It's rare to get levels that dark unless you're really deep in the mines or in the Skull Caverns, but it does happen sometimes for sure. I know for certain this is also a thing in vanilla because I didn't start playing SVE until December

That's what the glow rings and using torches are for though. If you don't have a glow ring you can always make a bunch of torches and just leave them throughout the darker levels and/or carry a torch, putting it down when need to fight monsters or break rocks. Torches are cheap to make. Just make a big stack and take them to the mines with you

im playing with mods and whenever i enter the wizards tower it spawns me in like the black void in front of the entrance tile and i have to enter the room by sitting on a chair and walking in bc it doesnt spawn me in the correct spot and also it says the wizard is supposed to be at his tower but his sprite it not here D:
the only two mods im using that should be changing anything abt him are ridgeside valley and sve which im pretty sure dont change the wizards daily path and are supposed to work with each other

My friends and I all followed the exact same guide to get SVE, actually I shared my screen and they copied me exactly. However, when I try to create a world or join one, the game freezes (not responding), and the command prompt doesnt list any errors.
I have reinstalled smapi and all the mods, reinstalled stardew, and tried many other methods to no avail. The only lead I have now is that varifying the game files on steam doesnt actually get rid of smapi as it should.
