Yeah KRS changed what is called their "unique ID" in the background. Any mods that want to list KRS as a dependency need to have the unique ID mentioned in their manifest. Chocolatier had KRS as a dependency and so had problems temporarily when KRS changed the ID. Chocolatier has now updated to change that though so you shouldn't have any issues anymore

Just the top one under main files and called Ridgeside Village. You can download the RSV Quest add-on if you want to which adds quests to the quest board in the RSV town, but you need to make sure you have Quest Framework if you want to use it

Isis Did you delete the old version of Chocolatier? I wonder if that's causing it. Sometimes when people download updates they just let it overwrite instead of deleting the old one, but if the old one is still there for Chocolatier, it could be causing problems.

If you're unsure, you could delete Chocolatier completely and redownload the most recent version and install that

Another thing to mention is some mods actually have multiple manifests for different parts (like if there's a JA part and a PFM part). If both manifests updated, that would also give you double updates. Updating your mods should fix that

If you use that unpack link Forsy gave you above, you can unpack XNBs and get the PNG image file out of it. You can then edit that image with whatever image editor on Android that you'd like. That's the easiest way to do it

@hearty epoch I want to say no without the host passing out each day, they would just wake up in bed and site there all day. Unless there is something out there that does take care of the host. they could continue to play though... you'd run into an issue i guess at the end of each day because the host would have to hit ok. or getting stuck at a festival

It began because Herbert has a dialog line about giving you a water bottle, but it's just text. So I created a JA mod to have him actually give a water bottle 😄 it can also be bought at Gus' and has likes and dislikes, so it's pretty tiny as a mod, but because I don't like the art still, I didn't bother releasing it

@raw fulcrum if I understand correctly, you're updating a mod and you've got the new version pulled down? Usually it's either drop the old mod directory on top of the new one, or delete the old copy and put the new one in its place.

@raw fulcrum A little bird told me your error looks like you probably have a really old SMAPI. Try heading over to https://smapi.io/ and downloading the newest installer (can just unzip it to your desktop or anywhere but the game folder, really), then run the installer and it should update.

this is a cool mod idea thats probably impossible, so what you could do is take all the portraits of a character you love and put them in a folder, and do that for all the other npc's, and have it randomize the portrait everytime you talk to them

they dont need mods like recolors or retextures :3

you both can have your own if you wanted

but other than that you need the same mods

and...how necessary is it to have the mods to get a good experience. The last time I played was before the multiplayer update and I had a few...but I also know that over time a lot of mods kinda got rolled into the game as features, no? Considering it's out on consoles the experience is probably pretty good even without them
