well, this is certainly the quickest i've ever done berry season. usually it takes 2 sessions over 2 days, but this time i smashed it out in one session/day and still have time for more XD

thanks to tractor mod/autoshaker and the threat of void maps/disposed texture 2d error if the day goes for too long. can't spend an hour or two carefully scouring the land for each berry bush anymore. must make it a long drive instead XD

they need to make sure there isn't anything else typed before the command by acident. Sometime that will happen and that'll cause issues. But if it a fresh line in SMAPI it should work
Did they delete the Console Commands folder from there mods folder not knowing what it was for?

If Console commands is removed SMAPI will launch the game with no errors but then you get this

Try doing that again post-mod reorganizing T.aiyō, if it still does it then it’s not one of the mods that you removed
only thing there is i know of is https://smapi.io/mods/ but smapi would tell you it was old
i suggest redownloading everything if you really are having saves breaking a lot. itll save time in the long run
or just the weird stuff

I found myself in a similar situation one day when I downloaded numerous mods all in the same day.. Then had issues and had to lowly figure out which 1 of the 20+ that had broken my game

The OS might be the issue it's self... Not all mods are Andriod compatible
so updating all the mods might not solve the issue. Could be an updated mod that isn't Android Compatible. Also make sure none of the mods have been updated to 1.5 if your OS is still running 1.4..

And there is no way to update, because the updates are for version 1.5 and need smapi 3.8

No using craftables since a while now. And recently discovered the buildings have a pack for the whole town as well as a compability for sve so I installed them right away for my new save :smile:
One thing that's missing from the old time medieval stuff is Character Sprites and Portraits to bring it all together
I love having all the older buildings and craftables and such, but feel its out of place to have the overly vibrant modernly dress NPC's around town.

currently using foliage redone reshade but i've seen it without the reshade mod and its still very vibrant- maybe its because im used to reshade
Likely I used the reshade for a bit, even messed with different settings in it's console.. But quit using it as my PC couldn't handle the Post Processing of the graphics without lag
also i watched a stardew video and since they werent using any mods i just thought how slow they walked then realized they were running 👁️👁️

I use the mod build on any tiles, and, you have to make sure that the buildings are accessible on land, so that they don't become ghost buildings

I have a main save file already and I know starting a new save file is required for SVE but will downloading it affect my current save in any way? Like will it change my farm and overall game play because I've already beaten the game.

svo mod, seasonal outfits don't show for majority of the characters
It doesn't look like you have any mods installed yet so you may be adding them incorrectly
Unzip the mods somewhere, and then move the folder into the Mods folder that SMAPI creates in your Stardew Valley folder
Oh maybe it is loading some stuff, but the logs you shared aren't from the log file so it didn't actually parse it correctly...
i dont understand what im supposed to do since i looked at a the sheet from this and from SVE (same seasons) and they were almost the exact same. one just didnt have a few assets

i figured out how to move it!
If you're using Vortex, it has issues with Stardew sometimes & might not install things correctly. Check d:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods for the missing mods & see if they have folders/files there.
weird they were there when I was playing earlier but now those 2 are missing. should I try re-installing?
that might help, yeah, and you can try to manually install them if Vortex is losing them somehow (generally just download them directly & unzip to the mods folder)

I got through one day and was able to save it and then I got off of the game for a bit, came back on and tried to play through another day and made excellent progress but then... My game was stuck on the saving screen... Once again, all that work for nothing. I really am about to give up.

I thought I should mention that with my problem, it didn't occur in my game until the 21st day of Spring Year 1 and I've heard that other people are having my memory issue as well, and someone said that its a problem becoming more popular with the latest Stardew Valley update

hi @distant tiger! I have a question regarding your Custom Music "Preload": false experience. Do you happen to know if any of the mods you did that for, used the music in an event?
As I ask this, I realize this would be a hecka quick test but I was curious to ask

Yes, it's mostly event music for the mods I have that use it. The one exception is RSV's town music. But regardless, I've had the music load up just fine when it was supposed to. I have not experienced any loading up the music delays either, as opposed to when it was still set as true. I do have a gaming PC so there could possibly be delays for others depending on their system I suppose.

Other than the potential jukebox issues (I don't use the jukebox), I have not seen any negatives to setting all music to preload false. It's only been positives for me because I haven't had OOM issues.
I haven't had OOM issues at all, but I have some fierce lag/skips, so I was nervous about adding Custom Music to that
thankfully this is 1 NPC and they only use music in 3 events
Ah. Off the top of my head I have SVE, RSV, Nikolai, and A Woman in Painting using Custom Music. The standalone NPCs never had preload, but back when RSV still had preload true, that plus SVE would make me get OOM at the day of only a single day of playing. I could never save. I got rid of many mods and that let me get to the 3rd day would hit OOM. I have not hit OOM since I changed preload to false and now I'm up to 600 something. I'm sure there's a chance I could hit OOM with my mod counts due to it seeming like something might have memory leak issues that Pathos is trying to figure out, but it would have to be more days played at once than I normally do.

This is new.... I was able to view the event when I manually removed the references to CM (although the event would crash right at the end), and the text was fine. This is with CM, I have no idea what's up with the text

Hi! Sorry for the slow response, things have been a bit intense with the Stardew Valley 1.5 update on consoles yesterday.
It seems you're running into the game's fundamental ≈3GB memory limit. Memory usage increases exponentially with texture size and PyTK leaves the old texture in memory, so essentially you multiplied the memory usage for every texture in the game by 17 (4 x 4 for the texture size + 1 for the original asset). When the season changes you temporarily have all the old seasonal assets plus the new ones loaded into memory at once, which further increases memory and pushes you over the limit.

Unfortunately there's no easy way to solve that. We can optimize memory usage elsewhere (e.g. in the SMAPI alpha), but that will only help a bit. The real solution would be to migrate the game to 64-bit, but that'd be a lot of work on the game developers' part so not sure it'll ever happen.

Convenient Chests is working fine to my knowledge. I know a big multiplayer game I'm in uses it
Guess I'll give it a shot then. It's the only chest mod I've seen that sounds like it does what I want it to.

An unofficial update to Convenient Chests which fixes the crafting from chest bug (as did the previous unofficial by Quintin) but also fixes compatibility with different zoom levels. Now I and others can hopefully enjoy having this mod work right even when you need to change your zoom. :)...

And basically as long as this doesn't break my save then I can just exit the game and Reload smapi and continue? since I seam to be ok for days as long as I don't trigger new patches, which in my case is only with season change. This would be a much bigger problem for modders trying to do a similar thing but updating there patches on locationchange or timechange

There are probably optimizations that could be done in PyTK to reduce memory usage a bit, but otherwise restarting the game periodically might be the only solution for now.

if you unzip unrar the mod you should be able to copy / cut and paste into your mods folder... unless you ectract the mod directly to the folder

Is lag/skipping with Diverse Stardew Valley (DSV) still a common issue with the latest version of Content Patcher?
I don't personally notice lag except at the start of each day (and I'm guessing that's not from dsv specifically, more like the 85 mods altogether)

@tired brook I have noticed since the beginning of Updateontime change and previous updateonlocationchange that this did cause lags, made me remove Season Villager Outfits because it made multiplayer gaming almost impossible... Is this what the newest changes are looking to reduce?
Yep, Content Patcher 1.20 has some optimizations which should fix (or at least significantly reduce) that issue.

I was personally edit the CP files in some of my favorite mods to not use these features and to instead only update at the beginning of the day... Knowing this was likely breaking some parts of certain mods... SVE for example

Yeah. Initial loading time is quite a few seconds. But I game it runs smoothly

Load time will always be an issue but moving from map to map was a really big deal and with 2-4 players it was making things really unplayable
Having shortcuts installed does increase loadtime between maps.
Again I've seen improvments with CP 1.20
The more mods I have the slower the game loads and my save loads... even between days, but the main issue was during the day as you played
If the mod updates on locationchange this happened every time a user changed maps.. going in and out of the farm buildings in the morning or just running around the town. Each time a user would change maps which happens a lot

I noticed minor lags in single player before the recent update, but they are a lot less distracting and noticeable in single player as the only happen when you the user make it happen... its more noticeable when other user causes the lag to happen to you and all the other users all at once
I like Ridgeside it's such a big expansion... I've been having issues with it and SVE recently with the custom maps not loading properly and then breaking my day when I try to travel to them. And it doesn't even happen all the time.. Great Mod thought.. Biggest and best thing since SVE IMO

really? issues with custom maps not loading? i sometimes get the opposite, and it's the vanilla maps that go into the void. (with the custom additions, like sve's gardens for every house in town, remaining visible)
There's a separate mod that makes Jio marryable
I either get to the end of the warp. but have no player control or I have no tool bar and I have to debug home. save my day. then exit and reload the game to get it back to normal... Thankfully this hasn't yet corrupted a saved game though

I'm not super new to modding, but I'm having some trouble getting the Natural Color reshade to work in my game. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, if anyone could lend a hand to help out that would be lovely!!

put all the contents in the natural color reshade folder in ur sdv folder, and edit ur steam launch options

the pet bowl is in the springoutdoors tilesheet (and all seasonal variants)
Oki, so what do I need to edit my stream launch options to? On Nexus theres this "Natural Color - Launcher.bat" so I'm not sure if that's what I need to add 
oh with that being the only one you are using it makes sense that adding it the first time as a dependency solved the original issue you were having

If you have any other mod at all that also patches these files regardless of what they patch... you should put them as a dependency and see if that first resolves the issue

I want to say no... instead add the recolor to the manifests dependency to allow it to patch last. You've already done this in your mod thought... Are you certain that no other mods your running might also patch the same file?
prefix the recolor name with zzz_ maybe?
