You can't
for furniture, custom furniture is broken so it'd just be a CP furniture pack. that just replaces the texture so it'd be fine. recipes, yeah expect the shuffle lol

if you don't want to plant the meat plants you can also use Khadija's Recipe Shop and just buy the meats there for the recipes
you still have to have either Fresh Meat or Hadi + Zosa's meat for meat to show up in the shop though
It says with Hadi + Zosa you can use BFAV to get the animals in and they will drop the meat when you kill them
But when I delete this mod it just asks me to install it again or else it wouldn't work

wouldn't work with what specifically? it's optional for the PPJA Even More Recipes. You just can't make the recipes involving meat

I think only SSaturn's Oriental Kitchen has a meat requirement, and you can use Animal Husbandry instead if you don't want Fresh Meat. I'm pretty sure Fresh Meat is not required for anything else. You might get some of those ignorable yellow warnings that come up for the optional recipes, but that doesn't meant it's mandatory

Constructive criticism is fair, but I think you have to judge RSV by all of its merits. Even if the artwork isn't 100% of what you expect they get out great content that has a lot going for it, and they don't let imperfect art slow them down
Looking forward to RSV getting seasonal outfits eventually, but honestly I love RSV so much. Been super impressed with how much the team has accomplished, especially in a short period of time. Making a mod that big is not fast or easy
There is another separate mod that changes the rsv portraits but idk if it’s up to date or how they are. I don’t like changing portraits
there are alt portraits for all the RSV characters and the existing ones are being slowly redone
Creators can get into perfection purgatory where they can never release anything because they're afraid that it's not good enough yet

i think the style of portraits has definitely improved from when i first saw rsv, they look great, that's all i have to say.

You can add custom meat to custom animals as log as you make an Animal Husbandry pack for those animals and they're loaded in with the meat

the entrance should be in the bottom area, if you go left from the stumps and down a bit
you can check with data layers if the warp is being patched properly
When I used it after unlocking the place it mixed the normal one with the modded version and it was a mess@lapis void

So I have no idea why but for some reason some of my casks are completely unresponsive when it comes to my artisan goods. I was trying to use the automate mod when I found it, and I noticed only some of my items were pulled from the chest. I tried putting them in manually, and that didn't work either. Anybody have any idea what's going on?

That being said. it may literally NEVER come because of split screen, or that feature would have to be cut for android.

hey guys i have a weird question I'll prob get turned down because I'm purposefully using an outdated ver of a mod... but basically I'm using the old Seasonal Outfits, the one for Baechu's portraits, I've customized all the sprites for the matching portraits and its taken me a lot of time to do, so you can understand why I don't wanna do everything over for the new seasonal outfits (and that's besides the portraits)....
The whole mod works perfectly fine besides being outdated, the only issue is that it refuses to apply anything to Jas, I'm not sure why her specifically, I don't know much about coding but it used to work before 1.5 ...I've tested this using only this mod and its requirements and nothing else but Jas is still default. If anyone has an idea on how to fix this I'd very much appreciate it. I can also provide the coding for the old seasonal outfits as well...
If you've edited the portraits, couldn't you just over write the new ones with your edits on an updated version?
The updated version has twice as many sprites and portraits and all of the names are changed.

Ahh. Well, you can still do it, it'll just be partly your work. Names aren't difficult to deal with for overwriting, just rename yours to the same name as the ones you want to overwrite
it's gonna be hundreds or thousands of portraits and sprites to rename... I know that I can do that but I want to avoid that and see if I can just fix Jas since the mod works otherwise fine.

Hi all, had a look and cant find previous chat on this issue. I play co-op across 2 screens by hooking my laptop to my TV and using the Extend windows setting, then boot up 2 player co-op in windowed mode and stretch the game size across both screens. This works fine on the un-modded game and i can stretch the game completely across both screens, it works a treat for 2 player, 2 screen play. The ISSUE is i have now installed SDV Expanded mod via SMAPI following the installation guide, it loads fine but when i try stretch the game in windowed mode again across both screens as before, it seems to lock the max i can stretch it and I'm left with desktop background spaces on the right hand screen, if i try force it to that part of the screen the zoom spazzes out. Really annoying, i just want it to work as it does un-modded..... Any ideas?

In 1.5 moving the greenhouse is a vanilla feature, but I'm not sure of the unlock requirements
You can move the greenhouse, once it's fixed, in vanilla now, but if it's on an outdated farm map, then I don't think you can
I don't remember if it snaps back into it's original spot or if it just glitches out, but something happens, since it used to not be a "building" to the game

Yes, you can set a dependency in the manifest.json of the mod you want to load last. The way the dependencies work, if mod A depends on mod B, mod B loads before mod A. I made my globals file and my custom locations file work for a bunch of mods. what is the best place to share it so that other people don't have to spend a day or two figuring out how to fix it?
You could upload the contents of the files to the json validator site and leave the links as a comment on the mod page

But those expire after 3-4 weeks, so you could also copy-paste the contents to the comment itself. I'd highly recommend spoilering those though, so that they don't take up a bunch of space in the comments

Other than PPJA stuff, I really like Personal Anvil (no more going to Clint to break open ores), Composter (can get fertilizer easier), and Spoopy Valley (what can I say, black is one of my favorite colors)

I'm definitely down to hear a couple cool ppja suggestions too.
I use pretty much all of them except the weed pack, but I think Fruits and Veggies, Artisan Valley, More Trees, Mizu's Flowers, More Recipes and Even More Recipes, and possibly Farmer to Florist if you want to go really big into flowers are the best ones. If you have those you'll mostly have whatever you might want, and any other crop and recipe mods are really just icing on the cake.

Yeah, PPJA is something that is hard to get into without getting multiple mods because they like to make dependencies. Some of them are optional, some are mandatory

It's not the same thing, but what you could do is if you haven't already, install SMAPI, and run it to get a log, then quit. If you had NPCs, it'll mention that they're now removed haha
Alternatively, nexus has a Downloads History view, so you could check that too

Ahh, I run several different mod variants so I can't do the nexus history, and I didn't run NPC adding mods ;n;
The only big concern would be mods that add custom items using Json Assets (JA), and any farm map mods that might move where things are on the farm.
Hopefully someone does know of a tool for this though

It's working for me, including at Marnie's. I don't think I did anything special to make it work other than making sure to download the unofficial version and putting the skins I wanted in the skin folder

Not sure if it's the same unofficial update, but I used the frogfrag unofficial update that there's a link to in the posts on the mod's nexus page. I didn't seem to have any issues with golden walnuts and global forage. Also, if you have CJB Cheats already, you can always just give yourself 2...

I didn't think that the DSV content patcher error could cause the SMAPI error that caused my game to crash? The "Critical app domain exception" error I'm getting seems related to the shipping bin

OKAY so regarding the glitch i was experiencing earlier:
for the record, i tried removing both More Recipes and Even More Recipes, but that did nothing
so following the same logic i installed an old version of Starbrew Valley, and THAT fixed it

yeah, the unofficial update of Adopt 'n Skins has been doing something weird in the SMAPI. but the mod itself completely works and I don't think it's causing the crash since I've been playing my whole save with it
in vanilla, you can use the tailoring system to apply the stats of a shoe that's stronk to a shoe you like the look of. So leather boots with the galaxy boots stats, for example

and to answer the question re: "how many" cooking mods - i didn't release the mod publicly but i made my own tea recipes, re-balanced all the buffs for all of the teas including the ones added by the More Recipes mod to accommodate mine, and took IRL herbalist practices and symbolism into account when assigning buffs based on ingredients
it does look like it's 2 separate mods you're missing that are listed there, so that link must be for only 1 of them
and just stuffed it in the "more Recipes" folder for my own ease of use

@silk moth the SVO RR compat patch has a manifest.json file in its mod folder, the dependency is Wolf.RomRas, you'd have to change that to the unique id of the SVE version, which you can see in the manifest.json file of it

So, I tried looking through r/SMAPI about why the DLL wasn't loaded, I didn't really get results
the farm map you are using isn't updated for 1.5, which is why when you move the greenhouse, it does a visual bug

I used xbci, got the farm files, spring tile sheet and paths (the tiled asked me for those 2 in addition to the farm), edited, exported and compacted the farm again.

Mods generally go inside the Mods folder and aren't placed inside another mod folder
So it doesn't go inside the CP folder

Ah, SMAPI for Android is older (3.7.6 and not 3.9.1). So you'd need an older version of SVE that works with that version of SMAPI

hi, does anyone here know how the "More glass buildable" mod works? i already downloaded the TMXLoader and the PyTK and zoom mod. I press F2 in-game and it disables my keyboard from having control on the game, and it goes back to normal after I press Esc key. any help would be appreciated ;-;
for me the buildables menu takes a hot second to load, did you try waiting for a bit to see if it pops up?

I believe the issue with longevity is not that it's out of date, but rather the way it makes changes to game files is inefficient and unfriendly for compatibility

As I'd mentioned earlier, you'd need an older version of SVE and older versions of all its dependencies to get it to work on Android

Hardew Valley lets you edit some prices and such. So does SVE.

You're on the Android version of Stardew, which is Stardew 1.4; the most recent SVE is for Stardew 1.5. Install the 1.4 versions of the mods instead.

iirc your issue was that JA wasn't loading because you were missing 2 dependencies for it. Also, you're also on Android, right? You're in the same boat as omba, need older versions of the mods

The log mentioned the 2 dependencies. Boot up SMAPI and it'll show the names again.
For the versions, you'll need to do some detective work and cross reference the dates they were published to align with when SMAPI 3.7.6 was published.
expanded preconditions utility is required for JA, not sure when that was added as a dependency but i believe it was pre 1.5 so you'd still need it

theres also a non shiny version, sadly for the mod its an xnb mod and you have to replace the sprite and portrait (i just unpacked the portrait and put it in portraiture)

Vortex has a habit of messing things up
vortex isn't recommended for SDV modding, it tends to mess things up
Easier to unzip, drag, and drop
when you are updating, delete the old mod file and put in your updated mod version
